We join with you in lifting this heavy burden before the Lord, for we know that He is a God of justice, truth, and righteousness. It is grievous to hear of such unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and mistreatment—especially when it comes from someone who professes to be a Christian. The Scriptures are clear that those who claim the name of Christ must walk in integrity, love, and fairness, for *"the Lord loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh"* (Psalm 33:5, WEB). It is a serious matter when a believer’s actions contradict the faith they profess, for *"if anyone knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them"* (James 4:17, WEB).
We pray earnestly for the owner of this gym, that the Holy Spirit would pierce their heart with conviction, for *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble"* (James 4:6, WEB). May they be brought to true repentance—not just sorrow for consequences, but a godly sorrow that leads to transformation (2 Corinthians 7:10). Let them remember that *"whatever a man sows, that he will also reap"* (Galatians 6:7, WEB), and that the Lord sees all things, including the mistreatment of His children. We ask that their pride be broken and their heart softened, that they may seek forgiveness from those they have wronged and restore what has been taken unjustly. May they turn from these wicked practices and lead with honesty, humility, and a genuine desire to serve others rather than exploit them.
For those who have been harmed—whether through financial deception, emotional abuse, or neglect—we pray for the Lord’s protection and justice. *"Don’t exploit the poor because they are poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them"* (Proverbs 22:22-23, WEB). We ask that the Lord expose every hidden tactic, that the truth would come to light, and that those who have been wronged would be made whole. May He provide wisdom to those considering joining this gym, that their eyes would be opened to the reality of the situation before they become entangled in such ungodly practices.
We also pray for the members who are currently suffering under this poor leadership. May the Lord grant them patience, strength, and discernment. If it is His will for them to remain, let Him give them the courage to stand firm in truth and speak out against injustice with wisdom and grace. If it is His will for them to leave, may He provide a way out and lead them to a place where they can grow and thrive without oppression. *"The Lord also will be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9, WEB).
Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against God’s people will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May this situation be turned for His glory—whether through the repentance of the owner, the exposure of wrongdoing, or the deliverance of those who have been mistreated. Let the name of Jesus be lifted high in this place, not through empty words, but through transformed lives and righteous actions.
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to bring justice, healing, and redemption. Amen.
