Beloved of All
Your prayer has been heard and I join you in lifting it to our Father in heaven. Thank you for sharing so honestly the heaviness on your chest, the anxiety that weighs on your mind, and your deep desire to be healed and to be there for your family.
The Lord knows your body fully, your heart and brain, your kidney and liver, and every drop of blood that runs through you. He is the true physician who does not give up on the sick, even when healing takes time. Like a good physician He continues His healing treatment with patience, and He also frees us from anxiety as we learn to trust Him and cast our cares on Him. When we are troubled by what we cannot control, by test results and fears about the future, He calls us to look beyond what is before our eyes and to trust His Spirit at work, even when we cannot explain His ways, just as we cannot fully explain the wind though we hear and feel it.
So I pray with you now. Father in heaven, in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, our only Savior, I bring this Your son before You. You are our Provider and our Healer. Have mercy and lay Your healing hand upon him. Touch his heart, his brain, his kidney, his liver, and his blood. Take away the heaviness on his chest and calm his medical anxiety with Your perfect peace. We ask that You would grant wisdom to his doctors, and that his laboratory tests and vital signs would show health and strength according to Your gracious will. Keep him safe under Your protection and strengthen him to care for his family as he desires. Above all, let him feel Your presence near, knowing that whether through healing or through sustaining grace in trial, You are with him and will not forsake him. Shower him with the mercy secured by the blood of Jesus, forgive his sins, and renew his hope. We lift everything to You, trusting Your love and Your power. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
