We join you in lifting up your health before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for humbly coming before Him as His child and disciple seeking His healing and protection.
We hear your cry for your heart, your brain, your kidney, your liver, and the blood that runs through your body, and for the heaviness on your chest and the medical anxiety that weighs on you. We understand how heavy it feels when you are waiting on laboratory tests and longing for your vital organs to be in good condition, especially when your family needs you. Our God sees you and cares deeply for you.
We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our God as healer. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. He is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals, and Psalm 147:3 reminds us, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
We also hear your anxiety and we want to encourage you to cast it fully upon Him. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. 1 Peter 5:7 also says, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And Isaiah 41:10 gives us confidence, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We notice you prayed to the Father and to Jehovah, your Provider and Savior, and closed in Your Mighty Name, but you did not specifically mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently share with you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by the blood of Jesus shed on the cross that we are forgiven, healed, and made children of God, and it is in His mighty name that we pray with confidence. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
So together we bring your request before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before You together on behalf of Your child who is seeking Your divine healing and protection. Lord, You know every part of this body that You formed, and we ask You to lay Your healing hand upon the heart, the brain, the kidney, the liver, and the blood. We ask You to lift the heaviness from the chest and to calm the medical anxiety and fear. Grant peace that surpasses understanding and let Your presence guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Father, we ask that You would guide the hands of the doctors and that the laboratory tests would reflect Your mercy, and that all vital organs would be strengthened and kept in good condition according to Your will. We claim Your promise in 1 Peter 2:24 that by His wounds you were healed, and we trust in Your power to restore. Lord, keep this beloved one safe, provide for the family that depends on them, and give strength to continue to help and serve them. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in this body and life. We pray all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to rest in Him, to keep bringing every worry to Him in prayer with thanksgiving, and to continue with your medical care trusting that God often works through physicians and treatment as instruments of His healing. Keep seeking Him daily in His Word and in prayer, and trust that whether His answer is immediate healing, sustained strength through trial, or perfect peace in His presence, He is with you and will never leave you. Matthew 11:28 says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We are standing with you in faith for your healing, your peace, and your protection.
