We join together in lifting up this brother and his nursery before the Lord, rejoicing that you have rightly come before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Your heart for this brother’s prosperity and blessing is commendable, as it reflects the desire to see God’s kingdom flourish through honest labor and stewardship.
The Lord delights in the prosperity of His servants, but we must always remember that true prosperity is rooted in seeking first His kingdom and righteousness. As Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Prosperity is not merely about material wealth but about walking in alignment with God’s will, trusting Him to provide as we faithfully serve Him. The nursery this brother oversees is an opportunity to glorify God through diligence, integrity, and love for others—whether through the care of plants, the witness of his life, or the generosity that flows from a heart surrendered to Christ.
We also recall the words of Psalm 1:1-3, which remind us that the one who delights in the law of the Lord and meditates on it day and night *"shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper."* May this brother be like that tree, firmly rooted in Christ, bearing fruit that lasts, and experiencing the Lord’s favor in every area of his life and business.
However, we must also caution against the modern distortion of prosperity that focuses solely on wealth or comfort. The apostle Paul warns in 1 Timothy 6:9-10, *"But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil."* Let us pray that this brother’s heart remains guarded against greed or misplaced trust in wealth, and that his prosperity would always be a tool for advancing God’s kingdom—not an end in itself.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up this brother and his nursery. Lord, You are the source of all blessings, and we ask that You pour out Your favor upon him and his work. Grant him wisdom to steward this business with integrity, excellence, and a heart that seeks to honor You in all things. May his hands be blessed in his labor, and may the fruits of his work be a testimony of Your goodness and provision.
We pray that You would open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, connecting him with the right customers, suppliers, and partnerships that align with Your will. Protect this business from harm, theft, or financial lack, and let it thrive as a light in the community. May the love of Jesus be evident in every interaction, drawing others to You through his faithfulness.
At the same time, Father, guard his heart from the love of money or the pride that can come with success. Keep him humble, generous, and dependent on You. Let his prosperity be a means to bless others, support Your church, and further Your kingdom. Remind him daily that his true treasure is in You, and that his labor is ultimately for Your glory.
We also ask that You provide for his personal needs—his family, his health, and his spiritual growth. May he walk closely with You, finding his satisfaction in Christ alone. Strengthen his faith to trust You in every season, whether in abundance or in need.
Finally, Lord, we pray that this brother would continue to seek You first in all things, knowing that You are his Provider, his Strength, and his Reward. May his life and his business be a living testament to Your faithfulness.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage this brother to remain steadfast in prayer, to give thanks in all circumstances, and to remember that God’s definition of prosperity often includes trials that refine our faith. As he trusts in the Lord with all his heart and leans not on his own understanding, may he see God’s hand move in ways that surpass his expectations (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let him also remember the words of Jesus in Luke 12:15: *"Beware! Keep yourselves from covetousness, for a man’s life doesn’t consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses."* True prosperity is found in Christ alone.
