Heavenly Father,
I come before You asking for Your favor, guidance, and blessing over my work and my future. Please open doors for promotion, better opportunities, and success in my career. Let my hard work be seen and rewarded.

Lord, I ask that the wages owed to me from my past kitchen work be returned to me. Touch the hearts of the owners and those responsible. Give them honesty, fairness, and compassion, and help them do what is right.

Bring peace and good relationships between me and the owners. Let there be favor, understanding, and a positive outcome. Remove any obstacles standing in the way of my blessings, and lead me to the right opportunities where I am valued and respected.

Bless my hands, my skills, and my efforts. Provide for my needs and guide me toward greater stability and success.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May those who pray with you agree for justice, favor, and new opportunities to come your way.

We hear your heartfelt cry for justice, favor, and promotion in your workplace, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. The Lord sees your hard work, your diligence, and the unfairness you have endured with unpaid wages. We declare that the God of justice will arise on your behalf, for Scripture assures us, "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). Your labor is not in vain, and the Lord will not forget your toil, for "whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same again from the Lord" (Ephesians 6:8).

We rebuke any spirit of delay, injustice, or dishonesty that has withheld what is rightfully yours. The Word of God is clear: "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it" (Proverbs 3:27). We pray that the hearts of those responsible for your unpaid wages would be softened, that their eyes would be opened to righteousness, and that they would act with integrity to restore what they owe you. If they refuse, we trust the Lord to bring about His justice in ways only He can, for "the Lord loves justice; He will not forsake His saints" (Psalm 37:28).

Father, we ask that You open doors of promotion and new opportunities that align with Your will for ###’s life. Let his/her skills, talents, and character be recognized by those in authority, and grant him/her favor in their sight. "For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and sets up another" (Psalm 75:6-7). We declare that no obstacle will stand in the way of the blessings You have prepared for him/her. Every closed door will be shattered, and every hindrance will be removed by the power of Your mighty hand.

We also pray for peace and reconciliation in ###’s relationships with those in authority. Let there be mutual respect, understanding, and a spirit of cooperation. If there has been any bitterness or unforgiveness in ###’s heart, we ask that You uproot it and replace it with Your peace, for "if it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men" (Romans 12:18). May ### walk in wisdom and grace, reflecting Christ in every interaction.

Lord, we bless ###’s hands, skills, and efforts. Prosper the work of his/her hands, and let his/her labor bring glory to Your name. Provide for every need, both now and in the future, and guide him/her into greater stability and success. We declare that ### is not forgotten by You, and that his/her future is secure in Your hands. "Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass" (Psalm 37:5).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who is our Advocate, our Provider, and our Justice. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, for "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name, believing that every word we have spoken in faith will come to pass.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. Strengthen ###’s faith, fill him/her with hope, and let Your peace guard his/her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We’ve been praying with you about the promotion you’re hoping for and the wages that haven’t been paid. That’s a heavy combination, working hard and waiting while something already owed to you is held back.

One practical step you can take is to quietly put the facts on paper: the dates and hours you worked, the amount still owed, and a simple, respectful note asking when you can expect payment. Keep a copy for yourself. If the owners don’t respond, you might look into what your local labor board or a small claims process offers; sometimes an outside nudge is all it takes, without it becoming a long fight. You don’t need to figure this out alone in silence.

For the promotion, it can help to let your supervisor know you’re eager to grow and to ask what would put you in a good position when the next opportunity comes. Often favor opens up through honest initiative alongside prayer.

We’re asking God to move in this tangled situation. Lord, You see the work that’s been done and the wages still unjustly withheld. Stir the hearts of those responsible to do what is right, and give our friend a calm, steady wisdom for the next practical move. In the workplace, we ask for favor and for doors to open in Your time, and while our friend waits, please provide for every real need. It is a mercy that you have brought your burden to the throne of grace, for there alone is true help found. Yet let us reason together from the Scriptures, that your heart may be anchored in something deeper than the shifting sands of circumstance. You cry for promotion, for unpaid wages, for favor among men. These are natural desires, but remember, we do not serve God for wages, though we have respect unto the recompense of the reward. The great matter is not whether your hand is filled with silver, but whether your soul is filled with Christ.

Concerning the wages withheld, justice calls out for what is right. The Lord is a God of equity, and His Word commands fairness between man and man. Yet, while you seek what is due, let your spirit be free from gall and bitterness. You have been forgiven a debt you could never pay, the debt of your sin, nailed to the cross where justice and mercy kissed. If your Master forgave you, can you not release your debtor in your heart, even as you pursue a righteous settlement? Touch the hearts of those who owe you? Yes, pray so, but first ask the Lord to touch your own heart, that you might forgive as you have been forgiven. No injustice on their part can compare with the grace you have received.

What shall we say of favor and promotion? The star of worldly success does not rise over every dwelling. Many are they who labor faithfully and yet remain unnoticed by the eyes of men. But remember, it is a greater favor to see the Star of Bethlehem than to sit at the table of princes. If God withholds the promotion, it is not for lack of love; He is slow to anger, plenteous in mercy, and in His time He may lift you up, or He may give you grace to abide in a low estate. Both are sweet to the soul that leans upon Him. The favor that lasts is that which rests upon you in Christ, the beloved, in whom the Father is well pleased. When justice was satisfied at Calvary, every barrier was removed, and now the light of God’s countenance shines freely upon all who trust His Son.

Place your greatest desires there, where neither moth nor rust corrupt. Promotion in the office, recovery of a few pounds, a comfortable working arrangement, these are small things compared to the unsearchable riches of Christ. Seek the justice of God for your life, a justice already satisfied in Jesus, and you will find that your own little injustices are swallowed up in that vast ocean of divine provision. Pray on, but let your prayer rise from a heart that is content to possess God Himself, with or without the other blessings. He will see to it that no good thing is withheld from them that walk uprightly. May the sweet savor of Christ’s sacrifice be more real to you than the bitterness of any earthly disappointment.

You ask for promotion and favor, for unpaid wages, for doors to open so that your hard work is seen. But consider what it is you truly seek. The world’s promotion often puffs up, and the favor of men is a fleeting vapor. Do not set your heart on these as if they were your great reward. The greater favors one has received, the more liable one is to punishment if they do not lead to gratitude and virtue. Riches do not soften the soul; they more often harden it. Many who are eager about unnecessary things, building up their lives like houses of many stories, despise the hungry while chasing what perishes. I would have you seek a different promotion: to be promoted in faith, to be lifted up in humility, to be honored by God, not by men.

As for these wages withheld, I understand the sting of injustice. But let this be an occasion for patience, not for a heart consumed by anger or avarice. If you are faithful, God’s justice is surer than any court. Touch the hearts of the owners, yes, but first examine your own heart. Have you served them as a fellow-laborer, with affection, not with boldness and a demand for rights? If you are profitable to the Gospel in your work, then your conduct should be such that they owe you a debt of love, not merely of silver. Yet even if they fail, remember: the poor man has no need even of the Emperor himself. True freedom is not needing to cling to the favor of those above you. The rich are the ones who shamelessly stand in need of many, often unworthy people. If you must ask a favor for your support, you are closer to the lowly Christ than the covetous man who asks for ten thousand things to feed his greed.

So I say to you: ask God for justice, but do not let the money become a chain. Give alms from what little you have, for alms are judged not by the measure of the gift but by the largeness of the mind. If you receive your wages, let generosity flow from them. If you do not, trust that God provides for His own. The woman of great faith was healed after much delay, to manifest her constancy; the ungrateful receive gifts immediately, to their own ruin. Which of these will you be? Let your prayer be not for the fleeting favor of employers, but for the steadfast favor of Christ, who sees your hands and your skills and will open doors to true stability, an eternal house, not one of two or three stories that crumbles to dust. Pursue peace with all, remove the obstacle of a grasping spirit, and you will find yourself valued in the only court that matters.

Your prayer rises from a place of serious weight: unpaid wages, hopes for promotion, and a longing for favor at work. That mixture of seeking justice while still wanting to walk in peace with those who have wronged you is a hard road, and God sees the honesty in your cry.

There is an ancient story that speaks right into this struggle. A man named Job lost everything, his wealth, his health, and the respect of those around him. His friends came and insisted he must have done something wrong to deserve such loss. They were certain that suffering always points to hidden sin. But Job knew, and God Himself declared, that Job was a man of integrity who loved the Lord and hated evil. Job couldn’t understand why these things were happening. He poured out his grief and confusion, but he never cursed God. Behind the scenes, a larger purpose was unfolding that Job could not see, a purpose that had nothing to do with punishment for sin.

Your situation may feel similar. The wages you are owed do not mean you have failed or that God is displeased with you. Do not accept the whisper that your hardship is proof of your own fault. The Lord sees every honest day of work you have given, and He is not indifferent to injustice. Job longed for a mediator, someone to stand between him and God, to lay a hand on both and make things right. We have that Mediator now: Jesus Christ, who understands every burden and speaks on our behalf.

Keep bringing your requests before God, just as you have done. Trust that He holds the hearts of those who owe you in His hand. He can turn them toward honesty and fairness. Continue to work with excellence and a clear conscience, leaving the outcome to Him. In His time, He vindicated Job, not because Job was perfect, but because God is faithful and just. He can restore what has been taken and open doors that no one can shut. As you wait, may He grant you a peace that steadies your heart, and may you see His favor break through in ways you did not expect.
