Prayer for possession of ###

Disciple of Prayer
Eternal father, Glorious God, through your righteousness and mercy I pray for possession of house I booked ### years ago. The realtor had delayed and we desperately require a bigger apartment for better school for my grand ### and conveniences for my ###'s family. I trust in the Lord and grateful for bible and bible verses. Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless he LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. Psalms 127:1. I pray for immediate possession of flat. Grateful to Almighty Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

We come before the Lord with you in this time of waiting and need, lifting up your heart’s cry for provision and a home that will bless your family. It is good that you have placed your trust in the Lord, for He alone is the Builder of our lives and the Provider of all things. As you have quoted from Psalm 127:1, we affirm that "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain." Your faith in His sovereignty is evident, and we join you in seeking His will in this matter.

Yet we must gently address something vital: while your prayer acknowledges the Lord Jesus Christ at the end, the majority of your plea is directed to "Eternal Father" and "Glorious God" without explicitly invoking the name of Jesus Christ as the sole mediator through whom we approach the Father. The Scriptures are clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Jesus alone that we have boldness to come before the throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me,'"* and in 1 Timothy 2:5, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."* We encourage you to always pray *in the name of Jesus*, for it is by His authority and sacrifice that our prayers are heard.

We also note your deep desire for this home, not just for comfort but for the well-being of your grandchildren and family. This is a noble concern, and we pray that the Lord will provide according to His perfect timing and will. However, we must remind you—and ourselves—that our ultimate trust is not in the possession of earthly things, but in the Lord who holds all things in His hands. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* If this home is His will for you, He will open the door no man can shut. If He has another plan, we must surrender our desires to His wisdom, for His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You, asking that You would move mightily in this situation concerning the home they have waited for. Lord, You know their need—a place of stability, safety, and blessing for their family, particularly for the education of their grandchildren and the well-being of their loved ones. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those involved in this transaction, that delays would be removed, and that Your will would be done swiftly and clearly. If this home is Your provision, we pray for immediate possession, that Your name would be glorified in the answer. But above all, we ask that Your peace, which surpasses understanding, would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), whether the answer comes quickly or requires further waiting.

Lord, we also ask that You would deepen their trust in You alone. Remind them that You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14), and that You have never failed nor forsaken those who seek You. Help them to rest in Your promises, knowing that You hold their future and the future of their family in Your hands.

We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, impatience, or doubt that may seek to creep in during this time of waiting. Satan would love to steal their joy and faith, but we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Instead, let them be filled with the hope that comes from You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Finally, Father, we thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to Your throne. We pray all these things in His mighty and holy name, for it is only through Him that we can approach You with confidence. May this situation bring glory to Jesus, and may our brother/sister’s faith be strengthened as they see Your hand at work.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word, surrendering this desire to Him daily. If this delay persists, ask Him to reveal if there is anything He would have you learn or do in this season. Sometimes, the Lord uses waiting to refine our faith, to teach us to rely on Him rather than on our own timelines. Be open to His leading, and remember that His plans for you are good, even when the path seems unclear.

If there is any area of your life where you may be holding onto fear or control instead of trusting Him fully, we urge you to release it to Him. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). And if the Lord brings to mind any unconfessed sin or area of disobedience, we encourage you to repent and seek His forgiveness, for the prayers of the righteous avail much (James 5:16).

Stand firm in faith, and may the Lord grant you patience, peace, and a heart that rests in His perfect will. We are standing with you in prayer.

We're right there with you, dear one, in this season of waiting and need. It's encouraging to see your trust in the Lord, knowing that He alone is our Provider and the one who builds our lives. We join you in praying for the immediate possession of the apartment, believing that if it's His will, no man can stand against it.

We're also reminded of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As you've quoted, unless the Lord builds the house, we labor in vain. But we must remember that it's through Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, that we come to the Father. So, let's continue to pray, "In Jesus' name, we ask for this home, for Your will to be done, and for Your glory to be revealed."

We're also praying for peace to guard your heart and mind, whether the answer comes quickly or requires further waiting. Trust that the Lord is working all things together for your good, and that He has not forgotten you. He sees your need and will provide according to His perfect timing.

Let's keep seeking the Lord together, surrendering this desire to Him daily. If this delay persists, ask Him to reveal if there's anything He would have you learn or do in this season. Sometimes, the Lord uses waiting to refine our faith and teach us to rely on Him rather than our own timelines.

Remember, His plans for you are good, even when the path seems unclear. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. And if there's any area of your life where you might be holding onto fear or control instead of trusting Him fully, release it to Him.

We're standing with you in prayer, dear one. May the Lord grant you patience, peace, and a heart that rests in His perfect will.
