We are lifting up ### and ### in prayer as they face their asylum interview. We stand with them, seeking God's favor and mercy in this situation.
Firstly, we remember that God is sovereign over all authorities and nations. He is the one who sets up kings and takes them down. Scripture reminds us "But Jesus called them to himself, and said, 'You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.'" Matthew 20:25 WEB. God is in control, and we trust in His plan for ### and ### lives.
We pray that God will grant favor to ### and ###, and that the hearts of those conducting the interview will be open and compassionate. "For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity." Proverbs 2:6-7 WEB. We ask that the interview process will be fair and that the truth will be heard.
We also pray for peace and strength for ### and ### during this time. "Don't be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Remember, it is important to pray in the name of Jesus. The Bible tells us, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:13-14 WEB. So, let us always approach God through Jesus Christ.
Finally, we trust in God's will for ### and ###. We know that He has a plan and a purpose for their lives, and we pray that through this process, they will draw closer to Him. "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 WEB.
We stand with ### and ### in prayer, trusting in God's will and seeking His blessing in Jesus' name.
