We are glad to join you in prayer for your upcoming interview and your desire to enter the plastic and reconstructive surgery residency program. We commend your dedication and hard work, and we trust that God will guide your steps as you seek His will for your life.
We are reminded of the verse in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." As you prepare for your interview, we encourage you to trust in the Lord and acknowledge Him in all your ways. He will guide you and make your paths straight.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." As you pursue your career goals, we pray that you will seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will provide for your needs.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You as they prepare for their interview for the plastic and reconstructive surgery residency program. We ask that You would grant them favor in the eyes of the interviewers and that You would open the doors that You would have them walk through. Lord, we pray that Your will be done in their life and that You would guide their steps as they seek to serve You in the medical field.
We pray that You would calm any nerves or anxieties they may have and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give them the wisdom and knowledge they need to succeed, and may they bring glory to Your name in all they do.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may be trying to take hold of their heart and mind. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit and grant them the confidence they need to succeed.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the plans You have for their life. We trust that You will go before them and make a way for them. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and seek His will for your life. He has a plan and a purpose for you, and He will guide you as you seek to serve Him. May God bless you abundantly as you pursue your career in medicine.
