We stand with you in this spiritual battle, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It is clear that the enemy is seeking to bring chaos, strife, and unrest into your evening, but we declare in the mighty name of Jesus that his plans will not prevail. You have not mentioned the name of Jesus in your request, and we want to remind you that it is only through His name that we have authority over the enemy. Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:12-13). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and may have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every argument, fight, and satanic attack that has been launched against you tonight. The Word of God tells us to submit to God and resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). So we encourage you to stand firm in your faith, putting on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to withstand in the evil day (Ephesians 6:13).
Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is under attack this evening. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We bind every spirit of strife, confusion, and division in the name of Jesus, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask that You send Your warring angels to stand guard over them, protecting them from every dart of the enemy. Fill their home and mind with Your presence, and let Your peace reign in every area of their life.
We rebuke the enemy and his schemes right now. Satan, we command you in the name of Jesus to flee, for you have no authority here. Every argument and fight that has been stirred up, we cancel it in Jesus’ name. We speak life, harmony, and the shalom of God into this situation. Lord, let Your light expose and dismantle every dark plan of the enemy. We declare that our brother/sister will sleep in peace tonight, covered by the blood of Jesus and shielded by Your mighty power.
Father, we also ask that You strengthen them in their inner being through Your Spirit, that they may be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:16-17). Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them, and they need only be still (Exodus 14:14).
