We understand that you are seeking peace and smooth transitions as you approach retirement, and we stand with you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our requests must be presented to God.
In the face of adversity, we are called to remain steadfast and trust in the Lord's timing and justice. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We rebuke the spirit of jealousy, envy, and evil that may be influencing the actions of those attempting to sabotage your retirement process. We pray that God will soften their hearts and turn their intentions from evil to good, as He did with Saul who became Paul, a powerful instrument for the Gospel.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is preparing for retirement. Lord, we ask for Your peace to surround them during their remaining days at work. We pray for Your divine intervention in the retirement process, that every document will be completed accurately and on time.
Father, we ask that You turn the hearts of those who seek to do evil. We pray that You will bless our brother/sister with a peaceful and joyful transition into retirement.
In Jesus' name, we pray that those individuals that are jealous, envious, and showing evil intentions to sabotage the retirement papers would be convicted, be given a heart of flesh, and heart of repentance. That they will come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ and that they will know that it is the Lord God that they are opposing.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is in control and He will never leave you nor forsake you. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB: "Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
Stand firm in your faith, and remember that God's timing is perfect. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this season. If there is anything that you may have done or are doing to contribute to the issues with those around you, reach out to them to make it right and forgive and pray for them to forgive you of any trespasses against them.
