Vice of Speech
We hear your heart and we join with you in bringing these burdens before the Lord, thanking you for your service and acknowledging the deep weight of what you have carried through deployment, trauma, and the post deployment depression that followed. We pray for your healing and for God's peace to guard your heart as you navigate workplace commotions, difficult situations with students not speaking truthfully, and the financial strain of a job that does not meet your needs.

The Lord sees your struggles and He is near to those who are hurting. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We encourage you to cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you, as we read in 1 Peter 5:7, and to remember that He is your refuge and strength. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. If the trauma and depression continue to weigh heavily, we encourage you to seek wise, godly counsel and trusted professional support alongside prayer, for God often brings healing through His people as well.

We also lift up your workplace and your desire for provision. God knows your need to provide and to make ends meet, and He promises to supply what we need as we seek Him first. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Matthew 6:33 says But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Colossians 3:23 reminds us Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. We pray that God would open the right door for work that uses the gifts He has given you, whether remotely or otherwise, and that it would provide honestly and sufficiently for your needs according to His will, not just for financial gain but for purpose and peace. Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is by trusting in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are reconciled to God and our prayers are heard. We encourage you to put your trust fully in Him if you have not already.

We pray together with you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up our brother to You. Lord, You know the trauma he endured in deployment and the depression that followed, and we ask for Your healing hand upon his mind and heart. Bring peace that surpasses understanding as promised in Philippians 4:7, restore sleep, hope and strength, and surround him with supportive people who will walk with him. Lord, we ask for protection and wisdom in his current workplace, calm the commotions, protect him and the students, and let truth prevail. Provide for his financial needs, open a door for work that honors You, provides sufficiently, and allows him to use his skills with dignity. Guide his steps and let Your will be done in his life. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and mediator, amen.

We hear how heavy this has been for you, carrying the weight of what you went through during deployment while also trying to keep up with a job that isn't meeting your needs. It makes sense that you would feel worn down and stretched thin, and we thank you for your service and for sharing this so honestly with us.

Wanting work that is more stable, pays enough to provide for you, and allows you to work remotely is a legitimate need, and we are praying with you for God's provision and clear direction in your next steps. We also hear your concern for safety in your current workplace and for the students you work with.

You mentioned post deployment depression and trauma from your time away. Alongside prayer, we gently encourage you to reach out to a trusted medical professional or counselor for ongoing support if you are not already connected to one. You don't have to carry that alone, and getting care can be an important part of healing.

If it would help practically, it may be worth talking with a trusted mentor, chaplain, or career counselor who knows your background and can help you think through remote opportunities that fit your skills and experience.

Father, we lift our brother to You today. You see his service, his struggles, and his desire to provide and to work in a place of peace. Grant him wisdom for each decision, open the right doors for work, and surround him with steady support and care. Bring healing and rest to his mind and heart, and keep him and those he serves safe. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your honest cry has been heard and brought before the Lord with care. You have spoken of trauma from deployment, of a heaviness of spirit since, of unrest in your workplace and concern for students, and of financial pressure and dissatisfaction in your present employment. These are not light burdens, and the Lord knows the weight of them.

Scripture tells us that He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. There are several forms of a broken heart, and pinching want and inability to find suitable employment and the sorrows that follow hard service can indeed break and weary the soul. Yet there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings, and healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed when we look to Him.

We pray that you will know this healing first and most deeply. That as you look to Christ, who bore our sins and our sorrows at Calvary, you would receive pardon through His blood and the healing virtue which His grace infuses, which can change the life blood and make the nature new. Men very speedily seek a physician for bodily disease, how much more should we seek the heavenly Physician for the wounds of the soul. He is able to heal, and He says to the backslider and to the weary one, Return. There shall be joy over you as you return to Him.

We also bring your practical needs before the great conduit Head from whom abundant streams flow down to men below. We ask the Lord to grant you peace in the midst of workplace commotions, to keep the students under your care safely, and to provide for your daily bread according to His wisdom and goodness. We pray that He would open a door for labor that is fitting for you, where you may provide honestly for your needs and use the gifts He has given you, whether it be in your present place made more peaceful or in another position if it be His will. We ask not from presumption but from dependence, that He would guide your steps, grant you favor, and supply what is needed to make ends meet, and give you contentment and diligence as you wait upon His providence.

May the Lord lift you up as He took the hand of the sick and raised her, for healing must come before serving. May He establish contact with your soul, bind up what has been broken by what you have seen and endured, and give you rest. Seek Him in His Word, for faith cometh by hearing and healing is linked with His teaching, and He will not despise a contrite heart that seeks Him.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will heal, provide, and keep you, and make His grace sufficient for each day.

Heavenly Father, look upon this Your servant who carries wounds from service and heaviness of heart. Forgive sin through the blood of Christ and heal the broken heart. Grant peace in the workplace, safety for those entrusted to care, and daily provision according to Your riches in Christ. Lead to the right employment in Your perfect will, and give wisdom, strength and hope to wait upon You. Restore health to soul and body, and let Your healing leaves bring freshness and peace. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and healer, Amen.

We have heard your request and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with compassion and care.

We pray for you as one who has borne the heavy burden of deployment, trauma and the depression that has followed. God sees what you have endured and He is near to those who are brokenhearted. We ask Him to bring healing to your mind and heart, to give you peace that guards your heart in Christ Jesus, and to surround you with wise and faithful help, whether through pastors, trusted believers, counselors and medical care, so that you are not carrying this alone. Learn to sing psalms and to pour out your heart to God in prayer, for those who sing psalms are filled with comfort by the Holy Spirit and find true cheerfulness in Him.

We also lift up your workplace to the Lord. We pray for peace where there is commotion, for truth where there are lies, and for the safety of the students entrusted to your care. May God give you wisdom and patience to do your work faithfully even in difficult surroundings, and may He protect those young lives from harm.

We hear your desire for a better position that provides more fully for your needs and allows you to work remotely, and we understand the strain of not being able to make ends meet. We bring this need to our Father who knows what we need before we ask. We pray that He will provide for your daily necessities, open doors for honest and fruitful employment according to His will, and guide your steps as you seek. Scripture teaches us both to be diligent in our work, for if a man will not work neither let him eat, and also not to grow weary in doing good. So we pray that God will help you to labor faithfully where you are now while you look for what is next, trusting Him to establish the work of your hands.

We do not ask God simply for abundance for its own sake, but for health and sufficiency so that you may live with a clear conscience and spend your strength on what matters most, the care of your soul and service to Christ. May He teach you to make provision for the needs of the body for health, and not for excess, and to set your heart above all on spiritual things, remembering that this present life is passing and our true riches are in Christ.

We pray that the Lord will grant you contentment and hope in Christ even as you wait, that He will lift the weight of discouragement, renew your strength day by day, and lead you into a place where you can provide for your household and use your gifts for His glory. May He answer your prayer from His heart of mercy, according to His wisdom and love, and may you know that every good gift comes from Him through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation.

We will continue to pray for your healing, your provision, your protection at work, and the safety of your students.
