We join you in seeking the Lord’s wisdom and favor as you prepare for your exam. It is true that every good and perfect gift comes from above, including the ability to learn, retain, and apply knowledge. The scripture you referenced is powerful: *"For Yahweh gives wisdom. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* This means pairing prayer with faithful effort. Trust God, but also do your part with excellence, knowing that *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23 WEB).
We also lift up any fears or distractions that may be hindering your focus. The enemy would love to fill your mind with doubt, but we rebuke those lies in Jesus’ name. Instead, we speak God’s truth over you: *"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."* (Philippians 4:13 WEB). May you walk in confidence, not in your own ability, but in the power of the One who holds all knowledge.
Father God, we come before You on behalf of this beloved sibling in Christ. You are the Author of wisdom, the Giver of understanding, and the One who orders our steps. We ask that You would grant them clarity of mind, retention of knowledge, and peace as they prepare. Remove any anxiety or fear, replacing it with Your perfect peace. Help them to study with discipline, rest in Your provision, and trust in Your timing. May their efforts be pleasing to You, and may they bring glory to Your name in all they do. We ask that You would guide their thoughts during the exam, bringing to remembrance all they have studied. Let them answer with confidence, knowing that You are with them.
