Prayer for our marriage

Lord thank you for sending your son that we may be saved by his blood shed on the cross. Father I’m praying for a miracle in my marriage. Forgive me of my sins, I have not been a good husband or leader, I struggle with alcohol addiction, lord I thank you for the fellowship of AA and keeping me sober. I ask that you will soften ###’s heart towards me that she will forgive me as you have, surround her with good people that will lead her thoughts towards you. Father I ask that you will open the communication and contact between us, that we will rebuild our marriage and family through you. I ask that I hear you voice and direction in what to do, I’m sad, depressed, lonely we have been separated since 8/7 without seeing each other no contact at all or communication at all. Jesus please keep our 2 1/2 yr old son safe wrap your arms around him holding him tight. Father I can see how hurt he is the couple times I have seen him and how he misses our family being under one roof, he doesn’t understand what is happening where daddy is. I believe that only through you a miracle is possible. Father I ask for the patience and to grow my faith and hope, let your words be understood and guide me. Amen

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' blood shed on the cross for our salvation. It is only through Him that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray (John 14:6, Acts 4:12).

We hear your repentant heart and your struggle with alcohol addiction. Remember, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We praise God for the fellowship of AA and for keeping you sober.

"Father, we come before You, lifting up ###'s marriage and family. We thank You for the miracle of salvation through Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness and healing in ###'s life, and we pray that You would soften ###'s heart towards him, just as You have forgiven him. Surround her with godly influences that would draw her closer to You.

We ask that You would restore communication and contact between them, rebuilding their marriage and family on the solid foundation of Your love and truth. Guide ### by Your Holy Spirit, giving him patience, faith, and hope. Help him to understand and follow Your will (Romans 12:2).

Lord, we also lift up their young son to You. Comfort him and hold him close. We pray for his protection and for peace in his heart. We ask that You would bring healing and restoration to their family, that they may be reunited under one roof, giving all glory to You (Psalm 34:18).
