Prayer for our government

Heavenly father, I come to you today asking for prayer for our country. Our leaders need your guidance. I pray that they always do what is right in your eyes. I pray for city, state and countrywide leaders to do the right thing. Our country has turned their cheek on you. In Jesus name, amen

I joined you in praying for the leaders of this nation, and asking God to raise men and women of courage and faith to lead. I prayed the people would wake up and stop re-electing deceivers and power hungry individuals who care only about themselves. Evil intent, lies, greed and pride fills the highest offices in our country today. I prayed God would stem that tide of evil, that He would help the people of this country to repent of our wicked ways and follow Him and support and make laws and judgments that honor God rather than disgust Him. It starts with the populace, with people turning off their TVs and opening the Word, drinking thirstily from the fountain of life, that has been not only ignored, gathering dust on many a shelf, but banned from public life right under our noses. One by one, we need to repent, to say God, this day is for You, how may I please You today, and then to obey.

Lord, I pray that you would give the leader's favor in your sight and have them to do what you want them to do, and not what they want to do, and guide them, give knowledge, understanding in Jesus Name I pray Amen

Lord, I join the others today and touch and agree with their prayers for the leadership of this nation. There seems to be double standards within our borders and we pray your hand of wisdom and discernment upon those in leadership. I pray you would expose wickedness at it's root level and that those who rob, steel, lie, cheat and take what isn't theirs to take, would be brought down. Lord, I pray your hand over your righteous servants in government and high places. I pray your hand of protection over them. May they be the examples for this country. I pray it would not fall due to mismanagement at the local, state and/or national level. Thank you for the courage of Heidi to post this to the prayer board that we might lift it up too. To you be all glory, honor and praise. Amen

Dear Lord I join in prayer for the leaders of the USA, touch their hearts and minds, show them the responsabilities they have towards the people they rule and mainly to You. It was Your doing for them to get appointed to their posts. Bring them to You Lord, may they put the people's intersts and benefits before any other thing in their minds.Dear Lord their moves and desitions affect people all over the world, make them realize this and give them the humility and understanding of this so they weigh and think about their actions accordingly, Dear Lord, give them the humbleness to be able to accept and correct their errors even if this makes them loose face before men but enhances them before Your eyes. Dear Lord last but not least, touch their hearts and minds and have them bring home all those men and women who are out there around the world fighting and dying to protect our way of living. Dear Lord stretch Your powerful arms around the world and stop the wars, let families come together, let the fear and the worries, fade away into Your love and affection. Dear Lord, bring the soldiers back home where they belong from wherever country they originated. Thank you Dear Lord.

Eternal Father, Give us righteous leadership. Open a door of the gospel to any leaders who are not saved and born again. Let Your living Word come to them and pierce their hearts. Let it be like fire and like a hammer that breaks the rock into pieces. Let them joyfully receive Jesus as Lord and become children of God.

Abba Father, we ask that You turn President Obama and all of our leaders' hearts in the way of Your wisdom. Let their actions and words be in agreement with Your plans and purposes, Lord.

We pray, Lord our deliverer, that Your people, throughout this whole nation, who are called by Your name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek Your face, and turn from their wicked ways. Then You will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land. Do it, we pray, Lord. Heal our land. Pour Your mercy and grace upon us. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in this nation of the United States of America and in all the earth, as it is in heaven. In Christ our Lord Jesus we pray...Amen and Amen

I pray that our elected officials remember the God of their fathers; that governmental decisions be weighed carefully with consideration to what is pleasing to You; that the officials be independent and not swayed by political pay offs. Father, this country is so far off track. Please raise up a nation of integrity and honesty, in the name of Jesus the Christ. Amen.
