Prayer For Our Family

Please pray for a family member.Most of my family is somewhat poor.They work hard and they manage to get by but we have one family member that is very wealthy and it seems the greed never ends.Please agree with me in prayer that God will soften his heart toward the poorer of the family.I am not meaning for him to give handouts.I am referring to treating the ones with less money better emotionally.It is constant put downs and belittling of the struggling anytime they are in his presence.

Also he lives a homosexual lifestyle and while I do not put him down it does make me uncomfortable when they visit.I have prayed endlessly that he will no longer relate to homosexual thoughts and desires but it is becoming more prominent as time goes by.His partner is also wealthy and never shows any concern for the poorer either and also makes constant put downs that hurt.Their only concern seems to be is where will their next expensive trip be.the bragging never ceases when they visit.We are all trying to not turn away from these two men but its getting harder to remain friendly.I am really stuck as far as asking God to intervene because I am not sure what to ask.Please pray as you feel led.Possibly I just can not be objective enough.Thank you.

Ever-loving God, I pray in agreement with trica. Please convict her wealthy and haughty family so that he will have a change of heart and will treat other members of their family with more respect and consideration. Please let him see that it’s not in his best interest to continue his present attitude pridefulness since this will lead eventually to his downfall (Proverbs 16:18). Also free him from the grip of Satan so that he will abandon his homosexual ways for we know that sinners will not inherit Your kingdom (1 Corinthians 6:9). I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
