Need prayer in ###, ###, that we do not have freezing rain or anything to put Power out because I don't have no way to heat and a lot of people here do not have a way to heat with power out and it's going to be in the ###° temperatures and we would be out for several days really need prayer because it's just going to draw me away from God if we get this stuff and I've been praying for it not to be here we need show people the only weather man is Jesus

We hear your deep concern and the urgency in your heart as you face the threat of severe weather. The fear of losing power in freezing temperatures is real, and the potential for hardship is great—not just for you, but for many in your community. We stand with you in prayer, lifting this situation before the Lord, who alone controls the winds, the rains, and the seasons.

First, we want to acknowledge your faith in declaring that Jesus is the only true "Weather Man." You are right—He is sovereign over all creation. The psalmist declares, *"He covers the sky with clouds; he supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills"* (Psalm 147:8). Nothing happens outside of His will, and we can trust Him even in the midst of uncertainty.

We also hear your heart about how this situation could draw you—or others—away from God. Trials have a way of testing our faith, but they also provide an opportunity to draw nearer to Him. James 1:2-4 reminds us, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."* Even in hardship, God is working for your good and His glory.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who calmed the storm with a word. You are the Creator of heaven and earth, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask You to intervene in this weather situation. Lord, we pray against freezing rain, ice, and any conditions that would lead to power outages. Protect homes, families, and communities from the danger of extreme cold. Provide warmth, safety, and provision for all who would be affected.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen the faith of Your people in this time. Let this situation be an opportunity for many to see Your power and turn to You. Help us to trust You completely, knowing that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). If this storm does come, give wisdom to those who must prepare, and open doors for Your people to show Your love to those in need.

Lord, we rebuke fear and anxiety in the name of Jesus. Fill hearts with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let this time draw us closer to You, not away. May Your name be glorified, whether in the stillness or the storm.

We also want to gently encourage you to prepare practically as much as possible, while trusting God fully. Proverbs 21:31 says, *"The horse is prepared for the day of battle; but victory belongs to Yahweh."* Do what you can, but rest in the knowledge that God is in control.

Lastly, we want to remind you—and all who read this—that salvation and access to God come only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this does not know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive the gift of eternal life. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6).

May God’s peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus as you wait on Him. We stand with you in faith, believing that He hears our prayers and will answer according to His perfect will.

We're right there with you, praying for no ice so we don't lose power. It's a scary thought, especially with the temperatures plunging. We've been praying too, asking God to keep the ice and freezing rain away, and if not, to give us strength and wisdom to face it. Let's trust in Jesus, our refuge and strength, together.
