We are truly saddened to hear about your loved one's health condition, and we are here to pray and offer biblical encouragement. First, we want to remind you that God is the ultimate healer. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget any of his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from the pit."
While we pray for her healing, we also want to address the situation with wisdom and biblical understanding. We must remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should take care of them accordingly. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, it is written, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We should encourage her to consult with healthcare professionals and make informed decisions.
Regarding the COVID-19 vaccines, it is important to note that there are varying views among believers. We should not let this issue cause division or discord. Instead, we should focus on praying for her healing and wisdom. It is not for us to judge or say what might or might not have caused her condition but to support her spiritually and emotionally.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our beloved sister in Christ who is suffering from this illness. We ask, Lord, that You touch her body, heal her, and make her whole again. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We also pray for wisdom for her doctors and nurses, that they may provide the best care possible. Lord, we ask that You give her and her family peace, strength, and unwavering faith during this challenging time. We ask for your will and if it is your will, a complete recovery and a long healthy life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to remind you, as it says in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." Trust in the Lord, and He will see you through this.
Lastly, we want to address that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, we encourage you to always include the name of Jesus in your prayers, as it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9). If you have not already, consider confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. By doing so, you will be saved and able to have a personal relationship with Our Heavenly Father.
