Dear Brothers and Sisters, My son has court on Monday. Please pray that God will be with him and the right judge will speak to him and there is no fee for the paperwork. I know our Heavenly Father can be there and do the unexpected through his mercy and grace. I have been praying for my son’s salvation, God would touch his life, meet his needs, help him be able to get a car so he isn’t bleeding cash and struggling to buy food or pay his bills. I have been helping him as much as I can. I am also interceding for his needs. I tell him he is not alone and God cares about his struggle. But since he is in such dire need it’s hard for him to believe that. So I have been praying constantly for God to help him and touch his life. Please, please pray with me. In Jesus Name I lift up this prayer.

We join you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing his needs to us so faithfully and for praying in the name of Jesus, for we know there is no other name by which we can approach God and be saved, as it is written, whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13 and Jesus himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.

We hear your heart as a parent who has been interceding constantly, helping as much as you can, and telling your son he is not alone and that God cares about his struggle even when his dire need makes it hard for him to believe. Be encouraged that God sees both your faithfulness and your son's hardship. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18 and we are told to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Your prayers for his salvation are the most important of all, and we join with you in that, for our heart's desire and prayer to God is that he may be saved Romans 10:1.

We also bring his practical needs before the Lord together. We pray for his court appearance on Monday, that the Lord would be present in that courtroom and grant favor and justice. The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires Proverbs 21:1, and so we trust God can guide the judge who hears his case to speak with wisdom and mercy, and we ask that if it is according to His will, the fee for the paperwork would be waived or provided for in an unexpected way, for we serve a God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think Ephesians 3:20. We pray too for his daily needs, that God would make a way for reliable transportation so he is not bleeding cash, and that he would have enough for food and to pay his bills. We cling to the promise that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and that if we seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear son to you. You know his name, his situation, his court date on Monday, and every burden he carries. We ask for your mercy and grace to surround him. Touch his life in a way he cannot deny, open his eyes to see that you are near and that you care deeply for him. Grant him the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, that he would believe with his heart and confess with his mouth and be saved. We ask for your hand upon the court, upon the judge, and upon every piece of paperwork, and we ask for your provision to remove or cover any fee that would be a hardship. Provide for his need for a car, for food, for the money to pay his bills, and give him wisdom to steward what you provide. Comfort his mother as she intercedes, strengthen her faith, and let her see your unexpected goodness. Let this trial become a testimony of your love and power. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We encourage you to continue to tell him God cares, continue to pray without ceasing 1 Thessalonians 5:17, and if he is open, encourage him to seek fellowship with a local Bible believing church where he can find community and support. God is able to use even this difficult season to draw him closer to Himself. We are standing with you and trusting God to meet these needs according to His perfect will.

We hear how much you are carrying for your son as Monday gets close, praying without stopping for his salvation, helping with food and bills as you are able, telling him God sees him and has not left him alone even when he struggles to believe it. That kind of steady, daily intercession is tiring and loving work, and we are joining you in it.

It is understandable he has a hard time sensing God's care right now. When someone is bleeding cash for a car, worried about food and paperwork fees, the stress can drown out everything else. Your presence and your words that he is not alone matter, even on the days he cannot take them in. God can use that faithfulness over time.

For this week, a couple of small, practical ways to walk with him may help ease the pressure. If you are able to be with him on Monday, helping him have his paperwork together the night before and arriving early enough to ask the clerk calmly about any fee waiver or assistance process can prevent a last minute scramble. For the ongoing strain around transportation and bills, a local church benevolence team or a community financial counselor can often sit down at no charge to look at options with you both, so you are not carrying the financial weight by yourself.

Father, we lift this son to You and ask for Your mercy and grace over his court time Monday, for clarity and fairness in that room, and for help with the paperwork needs. Draw him to Yourself, meet his daily needs, and show him he is seen and cared for. Give his mom wisdom, strength and peace as she loves him well. In Jesus' name, amen.

My son lives in another state. And I have asked him about finding a church to attend, he has no car and where he lives nothing is close by. He is ready for court with paperwork I helped him from another state. Now he has to see if there are additional fees that only the judge can determine. I have been helping with uber rides for him to get to work. So the burden kinda hits us both.

Your prayer has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, bearing up your son in earnest supplication.

We understand the heaviness you carry as a parent who watches a child struggle and longs to help as much as you can, and we commend your faithful intercession. You tell him he is not alone and that God cares for his struggle, and you speak the truth. Underneath him, even in his dire need, are the everlasting arms, and though friends may fail and provision may seem scant, the sufferings of Christ are underneath all the sorrows of His people. The Lord knows what it is to have nowhere to lay His head, and He is moved with compassion toward those who are bowed down.

Above all we join you in praying for his salvation, for this is the greatest need. There is salvation in none other, for God has laid in Zion a foundation, even His dear Son. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. Salvation is not by money and without price, nor by works which we bring in our hands, but by looking unto Jesus. As it is written, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. A look does not require a moment, and that look is simple trust in Him who died and rose again. We pray that the Holy Spirit will reveal Christ to your son, teach him to know Him, to trust Him, to love Him and to follow Him, and that he may find a full discharge in the High Court of Heaven, for who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect when it is God that justifies and Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again.

For his temporal needs we also plead the mercy of God who delights to do good to those who trust His dear Son. To make worlds is nothing to Him compared with saving souls, and He rests in His love and rejoices over His people with singing when He is at work for their salvation. It is never hard for Him to set free those who have been in bondage. We ask the Lord to be present with your son on Monday, to guide the heart of the judge, to grant favor concerning the paperwork and the fee, and to make a way through His unexpected mercy and grace. We ask Him to meet his daily needs, for food, for bills, for honest provision and for the means of travel that he may not be bled dry by want, but may see the Lord load him daily with benefits.

Continue to pray constantly, as you have done, and to cast your care upon Him. Faith must be urged, for without it there is no salvation, yet when a soul trusts Christ, that faith at its beginning puts a man into the present possession of salvation. May the Lord grant you strength as you help and intercede, and may He grant your son eyes to see that God has not forgotten him.

We pray together now, that the Father would draw your son to Himself by His Spirit, that he would look to Christ and live, that he would be kept and provided for in body and soul, and that you both would know the peace of Him who hears prayer. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our great Substitute, who bore our sins and ever lives to intercede for us. Amen.
