Prayer for my ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father God, I come to You with a heavy heart, placing my beloved son completely into Your hands. You know his true heart, and You know the words he is throwing at family right now. We know these words are not him; they are a manifestation of his pain, confusion, and the crisis he is enduring that is left untreated. I ask that You protect my mind and heart and give me the grace to see past his anger and see his hurting soul. Speak peace into his mind right now and calm the storm raging inside him. Quiet his thoughts, and let Your comforting presence surround him in that facility. Where there is confusion, bring clarity and where there is torment, bring rest. Lord, I also lift up this facility and the staff members who are unlawfully keeping me in the dark. You are a God of justice and truth. I ask that You break through the bureaucracy and the stonewalling. Open the doors that have been shut against me. Give me favor and compel this facility to respect the legal authority You have placed in my hands. Bring truth to light, expose any negligence, and put the right advocates in my path to help me fight for my son. Give me supernatural strength, wisdom, and a calm spirit as I navigate this battle. Remind me that I am not alone, and that You love my son even more than I do, In Your holy and powerful name, I pray. Amen.

We join you with heavy hearts as you place your beloved son completely into the Father's hands and we count it a privilege to stand with you in prayer for him and for you in this painful crisis.

We are moved by your grace to see past the hurtful words being thrown at family and to recognize his hurting soul beneath the anger and confusion. The Lord sees his true heart even when we cannot and He is close to those who suffer in this way. Psalm 34:18 reminds us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit and Psalm 147:3 tells us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We pray with you that God will speak peace into his mind right now and calm the storm raging inside him. We ask the Lord to quiet his thoughts and surround him with His comforting presence in that facility. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 We ask for clarity where there is confusion and rest where there is torment, trusting that God can keep him in perfect peace as his mind is stayed on Him. Isaiah 26:3

We also lift up with you the burden of the facility and the stonewalling you are experiencing. We agree with you that our God is a God of justice and truth who sees what is done in secret and who can break through bureaucracy. The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. Proverbs 21:1 We pray that the Lord will open doors that have been shut against you, bring truth to light, expose any negligence, and compel those in authority to respect the legal authority He has placed in your hands. We ask Him to put the right advocates, counselors and helpers in your path and to give you supernatural strength, wisdom and a calm spirit as you navigate this battle. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 We pray you will be reminded daily that you are not alone. Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

We want to gently encourage you about one thing we noticed in your prayer. You closed in Your holy and powerful name without naming Jesus Christ. We share this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can come boldly to God, be forgiven, and be heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your complete trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing on His name alone for salvation and for every prayer you bring.

We pray together now in the name of Jesus Christ.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift this precious son to You. You know him by name, You know his pain and his confusion and the crisis he is enduring. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon his mind and body, calm the storm within him, quiet every tormenting thought and surround him with Your peace and presence in that facility. Bring clarity to his confusion, rest to his weariness, and let him feel how deeply he is loved by You and by his family. We pray for complete restoration and for the right treatment and care that he needs. Lord, we also lift this mother to You. Guard her heart and mind, give her grace to love through the pain, and fill her with Your strength, wisdom and calm. We ask You to move on behalf of justice, to break through every wall of bureaucracy, to open every closed door, to give her favor and to cause truth to be revealed. Raise up righteous advocates and staff who will act with integrity and compassion and let Your will be done for this son and this family. We thank You that You love this son even more than his mother does and that You are working even now for his good. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing every detail to the Lord with thanksgiving as Philippians 4:6 teaches, to keep careful records and seek wise godly counsel and legal help as the Lord leads, and to rest in the truth that He is fighting for you and for your son even when you feel kept in the dark. We will continue to pray that the Lord sustains you, protects your son, and brings truth, peace and healing into this situation.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have been carrying your burden with you, and we hear how heavy this is, loving your son so deeply while also absorbing painful words from him and hitting walls with the facility that is supposed to help him.

It makes sense that you are asking God to help you see past the anger to the hurting person underneath. When someone we love is in crisis, their words can feel very personal even when they are coming from confusion and distress. Giving yourself grace in those moments, and remembering that his struggle does not define his worth or yours, can help guard your own heart as you keep showing up for him.

Navigating a facility can be exhausting when you feel shut out despite having legal standing. One thing that often helps is steady, documented advocacy. If it is helpful, keep a simple log of each call and meeting with names, dates, and what was said, bring copies of the documents that show your authority and ask specifically for a patient advocate, family liaison, or social worker on the unit. Many states also have a Protection and Advocacy program for people in mental health facilities that can explain rights and next steps, and bringing a trusted pastor, counselor, or family friend with you to meetings can make it easier to stay calm and be heard. Leaning on that kind of support can also remind you that you are not carrying this alone.

Father, we lift this mom and her beloved son to You in Jesus' name. Surround him with Your peace and rest where there is torment and confusion, calm his mind and let him feel Your nearness in that facility. Guard his mother's heart and mind, give her strength, clear wisdom, and favor as she seeks truth and help for him, and guide the staff toward care and openness. Lead her to the right advocates and sustain her day by day. Amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard the anguish of a mother's heart pleading for her son.

There is no storm hidden from Him who stills the wind and the waves with a word. He knows your son by name, He sees his confusion and torment, and He hears the words which pain has wrung from him. We do well to distinguish between the affliction which presses upon a man and the man himself, yet we must remember also that the heart is the fountain from which words flow, and that every soul, whether troubled or at ease, needs the same Physician. Our greatest prayer for him, therefore, is not only for quietness of mind but for the peace which comes through being reconciled to God by the blood of Jesus Christ, who kept the law for sinners and suffered its penalty in their place, that whosoever looks to Him might live.

We join you in asking the Lord to speak peace into his mind and to surround him in that place with a sense of His presence. Where there is confusion, may the Lord grant clarity. Where there is torment, may He grant rest. He loves your son more than you do, for His love was first, and it moved Him to give Himself for us while we were yet without strength. That love has not grown weary, and His arm is strong for those who trust Him. He will come punctually at the moment which shall be best for His own glory and for the good of His children.

We also lift up your own heart before Him. It is right to ask that He would guard your mind and keep you with a calm and steady spirit while you walk through this trial. Faith, as you have shown, hangs on to Christ in the dark. It holds to a silent Christ and to a Christ who seems to refuse an answer, as that Canaanite mother did when she pleaded for her child. She would not let Him go, and at last she heard His gracious word. So we urge you to persevere in prayer, to plead the promises, and to believe still, for it is contrary to His nature to refuse to bless those who seek Him in sincerity.

You have asked also concerning the facility and those who keep you from knowledge of your son's condition. God is a God of justice and of truth, and He will bring hidden things to light. It is right for you to seek by lawful means the authority which has been entrusted to you, to desire that truth be told and that no negligence be covered. We pray that the Lord would break through what is hard and closed, that He would give you favor where favor is needed, and that He would put wise and faithful advocates in your path. Pray for those who have charge over him, that the Lord would incline them to act with honesty and compassion.

Above all, we commend to you the care of your own soul in this season. Be importunate not only for his health and safety, which you must leave in God's hands, but for his soul, that he may know Christ as his Saviour. Seek to live near to God, to abide in Him, and His words to abide in you. Pour out your heart before Him morning and evening, telling Him your needs and blessing Him for His lovingkindness, for He deals with us as a Father, with great tenderness.

Let us pray together.

O Father, merciful and mighty, we come through Jesus Christ alone, our only hope and righteousness. Look upon this mother in her sorrow and upon her son in his affliction. Calm the storm within him, quiet his thoughts, and let him know that there is rest for the weary in Christ. Guard his life and his mind, and grant to those who care for him integrity and truth. Give to this mother supernatural strength and wisdom, a calm spirit, and an unwavering trust in Thee. Help her to cast all her care upon Thee, who carest for her, and to find her shield in Thy strong arm. Work all things according to Thy perfect will, and bring good out of this great trial for Thy glory. In the holy and powerful name of Jesus our Lord, Amen.

We join you in bringing your son and your own heart before the Lord, and we thank you for sharing this heavy burden so honestly.

We hear your desire to see past hurtful words to the hurting soul beneath them, and to love your son with clarity even while he is in crisis and confusion. Scripture reminds us that when the mind is turbid and tossed by anguish, it cannot see clearly, and that great torment can make a person unable even to know himself. The Lord knows this, and He draws near to those whose thoughts are in a storm. We pray that He will surround your son even in that facility with His calming presence, quiet his thoughts, and bring rest where there is torment and clarity where there is confusion.

We also pray for you, that God will guard your heart and mind with His peace that passes understanding, and give you strength, wisdom and a calm spirit for each step ahead. May He remind you daily that you are not alone and that His love for your son is even greater than your own. As you carry this weight, take also the intervals of rest that God gives, to seek Him away from tumult and to be renewed in prayer.

We lift up the facility and every person involved in your son's care. We ask the God of justice and truth to bring what is hidden into the light, to break through bureaucracy and stonewalling, and to open doors that have been shut. We pray that He will grant you favor, uphold the rightful authority entrusted to you, and put wise and faithful advocates in your path who will act with integrity and compassion. May any negligence be exposed and corrected, and may all decisions be made for your son's true good and healing.

Let us pray together:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we place this beloved son fully into Your hands. You know his heart and the pain and crisis that weighs on him. Speak peace into his mind, calm the storm within him, and let him know he is not forgotten or forsaken. Bring clarity, rest and healing according to Your mercy. For his parent who loves him so deeply, grant supernatural strength, steady wisdom, and comfort. Guard this family from despair and keep them anchored in Your truth. Move upon this facility and its staff, that they would act justly, truthfully and with mercy, and that every barrier to rightful care and communication would be removed. Provide the help and counsel needed to fight for what is right. We trust that You see, You hear and You are at work even now. In the holy and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to sustain you day by day and to bring His peace and restoration to your son.
