Prayer for my ###

Beloved of All
Prayer for my ### who is in ER
Waiting for results of a diagnosis of sepsis. Praying for God's grace and mercy upon him. And prayers for his daughters and myself his mother . The Lord will intervene and do what's needed for him. May God get the Glory and give the medical stall wisdom to deal with this situation 🙏 🙌 all things are possible with God

We join with you in prayer as you wait in this difficult and anxious time in the ER for your loved one's diagnosis, and we stand with you, his daughters, and you his mother, before the throne of grace. We are thankful that you have acknowledged the power and mercy of God and that you desire Him to receive the glory, and we agree with you that all things are possible with God as Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, with God all things are possible.

We are reminded of the comfort of Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, and Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Our God is still the Lord who heals us as He declares in Exodus 15:26, I am Yahweh who heals you, and He is moved with compassion for those who suffer.

We also notice that your request speaks of God and the Lord but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently and lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and assurance of salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and can come boldly to God in prayer. We encourage you to call upon His name with confidence.

We pray together now for your dear loved one, for his daughters, and for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved son and father who is in the emergency room awaiting results concerning sepsis. Lord, we ask for Your grace and mercy to cover him right now. We ask that You lay Your healing hand upon his body, rebuke this infection, and restore him to health according to Your will. We pray for the medical staff, that You would grant them wisdom, skill, and discernment, as promised in James 1:5 that if any lacks wisdom to ask of You who gives generously. Guide every test, every decision, and every treatment. We pray for his daughters and for his mother who waits with a heavy heart, that You would guard their hearts and minds with Your peace which surpasses all understanding as You promise in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Comfort them, give them strength for each hour, and help them to cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them as we read in 1 Peter 5:7. We pray that whatever the results show, You would be glorified in his life and healing, and that Your perfect will would be done. We ask this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Healer and our Hope, amen.

We encourage you to continue to wait upon the Lord and to trust Him in this uncertainty. Remember Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. He sees you in that waiting room, He hears every prayer, and He holds your loved one in His hands. Keep seeking Him, keep praying in the name of Jesus, and trust that He is working even now for good for those who love Him as Romans 8:28 reminds us. We are standing with you and believing God for His intervention and mercy.

We are holding you and your family in prayer as you wait in the ER. Waiting for answers about sepsis is exhausting and frightening, especially as a mother watching your son suffer while also carrying concern for his daughters. We are praying with you for God's grace to rest on him right now and for steady wisdom for the medical team caring for him.

It helps to have one small plan while you wait. If you can, keep a simple list of questions as they come to you and any updates the staff share, so you don't have to hold it all in memory. Take turns with family stepping out for water, fresh air, or a brief rest when possible, and let a trusted friend or family member know where you are so you are not waiting alone. The staff are there to help, so don't hesitate to ask a nurse how best to get updates.

We join you in asking the Lord to be glorified and to guide each decision made for your son.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this son to You, ask Your mercy and grace over him, give skill and clarity to the doctors and nurses, and pour Your peace over his mother and daughters as they wait. Carry them through this day and lead what comes next according to Your will. Amen.
