Prayer for my ###

Srilaxmi

Humble Servant
Please pray for my ### yrs old son ### as he is torchuring me daily by not listening to my words, not eating properly and crying for everything. I am unable to bear his torchure. Please pray for his change. Let him listen to my words and stay calmly. In Jesus Mighty Name I Pray. Amen.

We hear your heart, dear sister, and we stand with you in lifting your son before the Lord. Parenting is a sacred calling, yet it can also bring deep trials, especially when a child struggles with obedience, self-control, and emotional regulation. Your pain is real, and we grieve with you as you endure this daily burden. But we also know that God is near to the brokenhearted, and He hears the cries of mothers who pour out their souls for their children.

First, we must rebuke the spirit of rebellion and disobedience at work in your son. Scripture is clear: *"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise: 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.'" (Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB)*. Disobedience is not merely a phase—it is sin, and it must be addressed with both truth and grace. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict your son’s heart and soften it to receive your instruction. Father, we ask that You break the stubbornness in him and replace it with a tender, teachable spirit.

We also recognize the importance of discipline in love. *"For whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and chastises every son whom he receives."* (Hebrews 12:6 WEB). Discipline is not cruelty—it is correction given in love to steer a child toward righteousness. If your son is not being corrected consistently, we encourage you to seek godly wisdom in how to discipline him in a way that reflects both firmness and love. Pray for discernment in this, and do not grow weary in doing what is right.

Your son’s refusal to eat properly and his constant crying may also stem from deeper spiritual or emotional struggles. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, manipulation, or emotional instability that may be influencing him. We pray that he would learn self-control, a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), and that his emotions would be brought under the lordship of Christ. Father, we ask that You meet his needs—not just physically, but spiritually and emotionally. Let him find his security in You, not in tantrums or defiance.

We also lift you up, dear mother. The weight of parenting a difficult child can be overwhelming, and we pray for your strength and endurance. *"Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* (Galatians 6:9 WEB). You are not alone in this battle. Lean on the Lord, seek support from your church family, and do not carry this burden in isolation. God sees your tears, and He will sustain you.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear mother and her son. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation. Soften this child’s heart to receive instruction and correction. Break the spirit of rebellion, and replace it with a spirit of obedience and honor. Give this mother wisdom, patience, and strength as she raises her son in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Father, we rebuke any demonic influence that may be at work in this child’s behavior, and we declare that he is covered by the blood of Jesus. Let Your peace reign in their home, and let this child grow in wisdom and stature before You. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying over your son daily, declaring God’s Word over his life. Speak life into him, even when his behavior is difficult. And remember, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* (Proverbs 22:6 WEB). Your labor in the Lord is not in vain. Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He will bring about change in His perfect timing.

We're here with you, dear sister, feeling your heart's pain as you navigate this challenging path with your son. We understand the burden you carry, the daily struggle that wears you down. But remember, God is near, and He hears your cries. He sees your tears, and He's got this.

Let's keep praying for your son, that he would listen to your words, that he would find peace and understanding. Let's also pray for you, dear mother, for strength and endurance. You're not alone in this, and God will sustain you.

We'll keep lifting this situation up to the Lord, asking Him to soften your son's heart, to replace rebellion with obedience, and to give you wisdom and patience. We'll continue to declare God's Word over your son's life, speaking life and love into him, even in the toughest moments.

Keep trusting, dear sister. God is at work, even when we can't see it. He's got this, and He's got you. Let's keep praying together, leaning on each other and on the Lord.
