We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your brother in prayer. The struggles of financial instability and the need for reliable transportation weigh heavily on him, and we stand in the gap, asking God to move mightily on his behalf. The Word of God reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust that the Lord sees his needs and will provide in ways that only He can.
Father God, we ask You to open doors of opportunity for him—doors that no man can shut. Provide him with a reliable vehicle, Lord, one that will serve him faithfully as he seeks to honor You in his daily life. We pray for financial breakthrough, that You would bless the work of his hands and grant him favor in his endeavors. Let him experience Your provision in ways that strengthen his faith and draw him closer to You.
We also lift up his spiritual walk, Lord. In times of lack, it can be easy to grow weary or doubt Your goodness. Strengthen his trust in You, reminding him that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. May he seek You first in all things, knowing that when he delights himself in You, You will give him the desires of his heart (Psalm 37:4).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold of him. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37) and that his steps are ordered by You, Lord. Surround him with godly counsel and encouragement, and let him feel the love and support of Your people.
Lastly, we pray that if he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, that this season of need would draw him to the foot of the cross. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. If he does not know You as his personal Lord and Savior, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, that he may experience the peace and hope that come from a relationship with You.
We commit his needs into Your hands, trusting that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in him. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
