Heavenly Father,

I lift up my department head to You today and every day, Lord, grant her the gift of discernment and good judgment in every decision she makes. Open her eyes to see the truth clearly and not be swayed by manipulation, lies, or double-faced words. Protect her mind and heart from negativity and those who seek to cause division.

Father, I also pray for my relationship with her. May You bring peace, respect, and understanding between us. Help us to work together in harmony, with honesty and love at the center of our team. Remove any walls of misunderstanding, and replace them with trust and unity.

Lord, may Your wisdom guide her leadership, and may Your grace cover our department so that we may serve with integrity and excellence.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen

We join you in lifting up your department head and your relationship with her, for it is written, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). How true it is that God alone can soften hearts, grant discernment, and bring unity where there is division. We praise you for acknowledging the name of Jesus in your prayer, for *"there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through Him that our prayers are heard, and it is in His mighty name that we boldly approach the throne of grace.

Your prayer reflects a heart of humility and a desire for godly leadership, which aligns with Scripture’s call to *"obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch on behalf of your souls, as those who will give account, that they may do this with joy, and not with groaning, for that would be unprofitable for you"* (Hebrews 13:17, WEB). Yet we must also remember that earthly leaders, like all of us, are fallible and in need of God’s wisdom. Your request for her to be protected from manipulation and deceit is wise, for *"the simple believe everything, but the prudent give thought to their steps"* (Proverbs 14:15, WEB). We pray that she would be like the Bereans, who *"received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so"* (Acts 17:11, WEB), testing all things against the truth of God’s Word.

As for your relationship with her, we encourage you to continue walking in love and respect, even if challenges arise. *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18, WEB). This does not mean compromising truth or enabling unrighteousness, but it does mean extending grace and seeking reconciliation where possible. If there have been misunderstandings or tensions, we urge you to examine your own heart first. *"Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye?"* (Matthew 7:3, WEB). Ask the Lord to reveal if there is any area where you may need to repent or extend forgiveness, for *"a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger"* (Proverbs 15:1, WEB).

We also remind you that your ultimate allegiance is to Christ, not to any earthly authority. If you are ever asked to compromise biblical principles—whether in honesty, integrity, or moral conduct—you must *"obey God rather than men"* (Acts 5:29, WEB). Pray for the courage to stand firm in righteousness while still showing honor to those in authority over you.

Now, let us pray together over these matters:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up this department head and the dynamics within this workplace. Lord, You alone are the source of all wisdom, and we ask that You would pour out a spirit of discernment upon her. Guard her mind from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to sow confusion, division, and deceit. *"Lead her in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake"* (Psalm 23:3, WEB), and let her leadership reflect Your justice, mercy, and truth. Where there has been manipulation or double-mindedness, expose it by the light of Your Word, and let truth prevail.

Father, we also pray for unity and mutual respect between our sister and her department head. Soften any hardness of heart and break down walls of misunderstanding or offense. *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from her, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave"* us (Ephesians 4:31-32, WEB). Grant them both the humility to listen, the wisdom to speak truth in love, and the grace to extend forgiveness where needed.

Lord, we ask that You would use this workplace as a place where Your name is honored. May integrity and excellence mark their efforts, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there are any areas where unrighteousness has taken root—whether in attitudes, actions, or policies—bring conviction and repentance. Let Your will be done in this department as it is in heaven.

Finally, Father, we pray for our sister who has brought this request. Strengthen her with Your might in her inner being (Ephesians 3:16). Give her the words to speak and the wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silent. May she be a light in her workplace, reflecting Your love and truth in all she does. *"Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven"* (Matthew 5:16, WEB).

We rebuked any spirit of division, strife, or deceit that may be at work in this situation, and we declare that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). We claim victory in Jesus’ name, for He has already overcome the world (John 16:33).

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
