We join you in lifting up your younger brother before the throne of grace and we thank you for calling upon the holy and majestic name of Jesus Christ, for there is power in that name and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We stand with you asking for the Lord's mercy and healing hand upon your brother's body. We pray that the tumor would be reversed and that every infirmity would leave his flesh, for we know that our God is the Lord who heals us. We claim His promise that He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3, and that by His stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We remember the word spoken through the prophet, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17, and we declare that He is Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that would afflict his body and we ask the Lord to cleanse and restore him according to His perfect will.

We also bring before the Lord the remaining months of his sentence. We pray for divine protection over him each day, for peace that surpasses understanding to guard his heart and mind, and for strength to endure and complete what is set before him with dignity and hope. We pray that this time would be used by God for reflection, growth, and drawing closer to Christ, and that even in confinement he would know he is not forsaken. We pray that the Lord would sustain him physically, and we thank God that even simple provisions like apple juice can nourish him, and we ask that the Lord would continue to provide for his daily needs and give him appetite and strength.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord's sovereignty and goodness, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. Continue to pray fervently, to speak the name of Jesus over your brother, and to encourage him to seek the Lord with his whole heart, to read the Word, and to trust in God's healing and deliverance whether through miraculous touch or through the wisdom He gives to physicians.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this beloved younger brother to You. Lord, You know his body, You formed him, and You know every cell. We ask You to touch the tumor and cause it to shrink and disappear, to reverse its growth and to restore healthy flesh. We command in Jesus name that the infirmity leave him and that Your healing virtue flow through him. Sustain him, Lord, keep him safe through the remainder of his sentence, give him peace, protect him from harm, and let him feel Your presence each day. Provide for his needs, bless the nourishment he receives, and let his body be strengthened. Draw him ever closer to You, forgive his sins, and let this trial become a testimony of Your grace and power. We ask all this in the holy and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We were so touched to read your prayer for your younger brother. The way you call on Jesus as your Majesty shows deep trust, and we hear the urgency in your heart for these last months of his sentence and for the tumor he is facing. Wanting him to keep strength, even to keep enjoying something simple like apple juice, shows such tender care.

We are joining you in bringing him before the Lord, asking for mercy, comfort and healing according to God's good will. While we pray, we also encourage you to help make sure he stays under the care of his medical team and that any changes are shared with them quickly, so prayer and good care can go hand in hand. If you are able to stay in regular contact with him, those calls or visits can be a real source of strength for both of you in this waiting time.

Father, in Jesus name we lift this young man to you. You know his body, his sentence, and every detail of his days. We ask for your presence with him, for wisdom for those caring for him, for peace and strength for each day ahead, and for your healing touch as you will. Comfort his brother who loves him so faithfully and draw you both close to you. Amen.

[Spurgeon]

Your prayer for your younger brother has been brought before the Lord with tender concern, and we join our hearts with yours in entreating the throne of grace on his behalf.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves are full of healing virtue. When the Sun of Righteousness arises, He comes with healing in His wings, and in Him pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are one in His gracious hand.

We therefore pray that our Lord Jesus Christ, our heavenly Physician, would look upon your brother in mercy. That He would lay His hand upon him and, if it be His holy will, cause the growth of this tumor to be reversed and that infirmity to be removed from his flesh. We ask that the Lord would sustain his body, and grant that what nourishes him, even such a simple provision as apple juice, may be blessed to his strength. We know that Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

We pray also for these remaining months of his sentence. Though he is shut within prison walls, the Word of God is not bound, and the Lord can make even a prison to be a place where His love keeps the soul. May the Lord keep him in safety, grant him patience and repentance, and cause this time of confinement to be a season of visitation and healing for his soul. A father may chasten his child, yet how different is the chastening of the Lord from the sentence of man, for the Lord chastens that He may heal and restore.

Above all we pray that your brother may first know the forgiveness of sins, for that is the chief healing. We entreat the Lord to give him a broken and contrite heart, and then to speak that blessed and comprehensive sentence, Your sins are forgiven you, a sentence from One who is authorized to absolve, containing no conditions for the repenting and believing sinner. O that he may seek pardon through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, and then prove in his own soul that healing follows pardon from the same gracious hand.

May the Lord hear your cry, grant you peace as you wait upon Him, and work in your brother both healing and salvation for His own glory. We commend him to that great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below, beseeching the Lord to do according to His perfect wisdom and mercy. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this man to You. We ask for Your favor as he completes his sentence, for *"the Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love"* (**Psalm 145:8**). We pray for healing and the reversal of tumor growth, for *"by His wounds we are healed"* (**Isaiah 53:5**). Remove every spirit of infirmity from his body, for *"Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil"* (**Acts 10:38**). Grant him comfort and restoration.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
