We are truly sorry to hear about the trials your son is facing, and we are here to intercede on his behalf. First, we want to remind you of God's love and care for each of us, including your son.
Now you ask for prayers for your son and the struggles that he has with Autism and Epilepsy. As believers we are assured that God works all things together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. God did not cause these conditions, but he does allow trials and tribulations in life for the believers. God WILL use these in your life for good.
Remember the scriptures that tell us that "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." "For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, 'Abba! Father!'"
Your scriptures also remind us that "he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."
We encourage you to be thankful and continue to trust in God. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before you, thanking you for the life of this child. God, you know the struggles he faces with Autism and Epilepsy, and we ask for your healing touch upon him. We pray for your protection over him, especially as he battles this cold and flu. Prevent any seizures from occurring, and give wisdom to his parents and the doctors treating him.
Lord, we also pray for your comfort and strength for this family. Help them to trust in you, even in the midst of these trials. Guide them to the best treatments and therapies for their son, and give them the grace they need to care for him each day.
Stay in Jesus's word. And know that my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Heal the sick. Cleanse the lepers. Raise the dead. Cast out demons: freely ye have received, freely give.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
The scriptures of the Bible are the final word and authority over all things. Any prayer requests that are not explicitly worded will be addressed as needed to support the true intent of the request.
In conclusion we are reminded that "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
We will continue to pray for your son and your family, trusting that God will hear and answer our prayers according to His will.
