We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your brother who is suffering from a paralyzing condition. Our God is the Great Physician, the One who formed every part of our bodies and knows them intimately. We stand on the promise of Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask for Your healing touch to come upon this dear brother. We rebuke this paralysis in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written in Acts 3:6, "In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!" We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he was healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing now. Lord, restore strength to his limbs, renew his nerves, and let every cell in his body align with Your perfect design. We speak life and wholeness over him, believing that what was impossible with man is possible with You (Luke 18:27).
We also pray for peace and comfort to surround him and his family during this trial. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let this season draw them closer to Your heart.
If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that may be hindering his healing, we ask that You reveal it to him, Lord. Your Word says in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed." We pray for repentance and cleansing, that nothing would stand in the way of Your healing power.
We also encourage this family to seek godly wisdom from medical professionals who honor You, for You often work through the hands of those You have gifted with knowledge. At the same time, we trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Above all, we pray that this brother would come to know You more deeply through this trial. If he has not yet placed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we ask that You draw him to Yourself. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May he surrender his life to You, for You alone can give eternal healing and peace.
We declare Your Word over this situation: "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to Your promises. May Your will be done in this brother’s life, and may Your name be glorified through his healing. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
