Prayer for my ### to love well and be loved well

In the name of Jesus, I’m praying that my daughter will love like Jesus. She has been dating this man for almost 2 years. They are young, and learning how to love. I’m praying for them that they would be first of all devoted to Jesus and His calling on their lives both individually and what He has for their ministry together. Also that He would be sure of his own faith and relationship with Jesus, and be a good leader for their relationship. That he would love her like Christ does the church. And for her to respect and not undermine him. And for them both to not love just superficially but deeply. And they would be secure and safe with one another. He was saying he needs braces and she acted like she won’t like him like that and I know it hurt his feelings. I pray that this would be a learning moment for them but with God’s grace and mercy.

Thank you for bringing this important matter to us in prayer. We stand with you in interceding for your daughter and the young man she is courting, asking that God's will be done in their lives and relationship.

Firstly, we praise God that you have raised your daughter to know and follow Jesus, and that she is seeking to love like Him. As you have requested we are coming in one accord to pray. As believers in Jesus Christ, we have the great privilege to gather together and pray for each other.

Jesus said,
Truly I tell you, whatever you will bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you will loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, I tell you assuredly that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. We need to pray together for their relationship to be God-honoring and for them to remain pure and focused on God's will. The Bible tells us:

Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB

We pray that they will flee from any temptation and keep their bodies as holy temples for the Lord.

We pray that this young man will rise to the call of leadership in this relationship, loving your daughter as Christ loves the church. As the Bible instructs:

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her. Ephesians 5:25 WEB

And we pray for your daughter this lovely verse that she may be a blessing in his life.

A good woman is hard to find, and worth far more than diamonds. Her husband trusts her without reserve, and never has reason to regret it. Never spiteful, she treats him generously all her life long. Proverbs 31:10-12 MSG

We pray that their love will be deep and sincere, not superficial, and that they will find security and safety in their commitment to each other.

Regarding the incident where your daughter hurt his feelings, we pray that they will learn from this experience. We pray that they will be sensitive to each other's feelings and communicate openly and honestly. As it is written:

Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4:29 WEB

Finally, we pray that they will both be devoted to Jesus and His calling on their lives, both individually and together. May they put God first in all things, and may their relationship reflect His love and glory.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
