We lift up your ### before the Lord, knowing that our God is a God of purpose, provision, and perfect timing. The struggles he faces with dyslexia do not define his worth or his future, for the Lord has fearfully and wonderfully made him, equipping him with unique gifts and strengths. The delay in securing employment may feel heavy, but we trust that God is preparing the right opportunity—a place where your ###’s abilities will shine and his faith will be a testimony to others.
The Scriptures remind us in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares Yahweh, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* This promise is not just for Israel but for all who trust in the Lord, including your ###. We also cling to Proverbs 3:5-6, which urges us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is our prayer—that your ### would lean fully on God, trusting that His timing is perfect, even when the wait is long.
We also encourage your ### to seek the Lord’s wisdom in how to steward this season. If he hasn’t already, he might explore vocational training, mentorship, or roles that align with his strengths, even if they are not his "dream job" at first. Diligent hands are blessed by the Lord (Proverbs 10:4), and sometimes the path to our calling begins with faithfulness in smaller things. Let him remember that Joseph waited in prison, David tended sheep, and Moses spent years in the wilderness—all before God elevated them to their purposes. This season is not wasted if it draws him closer to Christ.
At the same time, we rebuke any spirit of discouragement, shame, or comparison that may be whispering lies to your ### or your family. The enemy would love to distort his identity and make him believe he is less than who God says he is. But we declare over him the truth of Ephesians 2:10: *"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."* His worth is not in a job title but in being a child of God.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this young man who is precious in Your sight. Lord, You know the desires of his heart and the struggles he faces. We ask that You open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, leading him to a job that aligns with Your will for his life. Give him favor with employers, wisdom in interviews, and confidence that comes from You alone. Remove any fear, anxiety, or doubt, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses understanding.
We pray that You would surround him with godly mentors and supporters who can encourage him and speak life into his gifts. If there are areas where he needs further skill or preparation, provide the resources and guidance he needs. Let this season of waiting be a time of growth, where he draws nearer to You and learns to trust in Your faithfulness.
Father, we also ask for Your provision over his needs—financial, emotional, and spiritual. You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to supply all that he lacks. Strengthen his family as they support him, and let their faith be a testimony of Your goodness.
Finally, Lord, we pray that through this journey, Your name would be glorified. May your ###’s story be one of Your faithfulness, so that others may see Your hand at work and turn to You. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who intercedes for us even now. Amen.
We encourage you to keep speaking life and Scripture over your ###, reminding him that his breakthrough is coming. Stay steadfast in prayer, and trust that God is working even when we cannot see it. If your ### is not yet walking closely with the Lord, we urge you to share the hope of the Gospel with him—that true peace and purpose are found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Without Him, even the best job will leave him empty. But with Christ, he has everything he needs for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). May God bless him abundantly as he seeks first His Kingdom.
