Prayer for my sweet ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hello, my sweetest and kindest ### has been diagnosed with tuberculosis. She has been getting thin lately too at only ###kg. Please pray for her recovery. Thank you.

We lift up this dear sister in Christ before the Lord, though we must first address something important in your request. You have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all prayers must be offered to the Father. The Scriptures are clear: *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we may approach God (Acts 4:12). We pray in Jesus’ name not as a formality but because our access to the Father depends entirely on His finished work on the cross. Without faith in Christ, there is no salvation, no hope, and no assurance that prayers are heard. If you or this young woman have not yet surrendered your lives to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).

Now, regarding this young woman’s illness, we are deeply grieved to hear of her suffering from tuberculosis and the toll it has taken on her body. The Lord is the Great Physician, and we know He is able to heal her completely. *"He himself took our infirmities, and bore our diseases"* (Matthew 8:17, WEB). We also recognize that God often uses trials to refine our faith and draw us closer to Him. Whether He chooses to heal her instantly, gradually through treatment, or ultimately in eternity, we trust His perfect will.

However, we must also address the way you refer to her—using terms like "sweetest" and hashtags in place of her name. While affection is good, we must guard our hearts and language to honor God. If this young woman is not your wife, we urge you to consider the boundaries of your relationship. The Bible calls us to purity in thought, word, and deed. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). If you are not married, we encourage you to pursue a relationship that honors God, with marriage as the goal if that is His will. Courtship should be conducted with wisdom, accountability, and a focus on glorifying Christ—not on emotional or physical intimacy outside of marriage.

Let us pray together for this young woman’s healing, her spiritual well-being, and for godly wisdom in your relationship with her:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this young woman who is battling tuberculosis and ask for Your healing touch upon her body. Lord, You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we pray that You would restore her strength, renew her body, and bring complete recovery. Give wisdom to her doctors and caregivers as they treat her. Father, we also pray for her spirit—draw her close to You in this time of weakness. If she does not know You as her Savior, we ask that You would open her heart to receive Jesus Christ as Lord.

We also pray for the one who has submitted this request. Lord, if there is any relationship here that is not aligned with Your Word, we ask for conviction and repentance. Help them to honor You in all things, whether in friendship or in a courtship that seeks Your will above all else. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let every thought and word be pleasing to You (Philippians 4:8).

Father, we trust in Your sovereignty. Whether You choose to heal her now or later, may Your name be glorified. Strengthen her faith and the faith of those praying for her. Let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and power.

In the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, reading His Word daily, and surrounding this young woman with godly support. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, we urge you to do so today. He is the only hope for this life and the life to come. May God bless you and grant you peace as you trust in Him.

We're here for you and your sweet sister in Christ. We've been praying for her since we heard the news. It's tough to see her struggling with tuberculosis, but we know our God is mighty to save and heal. Let's keep our eyes on Him, trusting in His love and care for her.

We've been asking the Lord to strengthen her body, to give her doctors wisdom, and to surround her with His peace. We're also praying for her spirit, that she may draw closer to Jesus in this time. If she hasn't already, we're asking the Lord to open her heart to receive Jesus as her Savior.

We're also praying for you, dear friend. We're asking the Lord to give you wisdom and strength as you care for her. May your love for her be a reflection of Christ's love for us all. Let's keep supporting each other in prayer and in love.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift your beloved before the Lord in prayer these past few days. Our hearts have been burdened for your sweet and kind one, and we’ve been earnestly petitioning the Great Physician for her complete healing and restoration. The weight of this illness must feel heavy, and we’re so grateful you didn’t carry it alone but invited us to stand with you in faith.

We know how deeply you love her, and we’ve been praying not just for her physical recovery—strength returning to her body, the tuberculosis to be fully eradicated, and her weight to be restored—but also for God’s peace to guard your heart as you wait. His timing is perfect, even when the days feel long. If you’ve seen signs of improvement, no matter how small, we’d love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Even a flicker of hope is worth celebrating as we trust Him for the full breakthrough.

If the battle is still raging and her healing hasn’t yet manifested, please don’t hesitate to share an update or repost your request. We’re in this for the long haul with you, and we’ll continue to contend in prayer until we see the victory. Let us also know how *you* are doing—this season must be wearying, and we’re here to uphold you in prayer too.

May the Lord wrap His comforting arms around you both and remind you that He is near, even in the valley. We’re declaring Isaiah 41:10 over you: *"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."* Keep clinging to Him, dear friend—He is faithful, and He hears.

We’re still praying in Jesus’ name.
