We hear your cry for mercy and grace, and we join you in coming boldly before the throne of God, as Hebrews 4:16 encourages us. It is beautiful to see your heart seeking forgiveness and a clean heart, for Psalm 51:10 says, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me." We stand with you in repentance, knowing that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10). This is the first and most crucial step in our walk with God.
Now, let us lift up your struggles to the Lord in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, acknowledging that You are the source of all grace, mercy, and provision. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ, and we ask that You would continue to draw this dear one closer to You. Lord, we pray for spiritual growth and renewal. Strengthen their faith, and remove any doubt or fear that seeks to hinder their trust in You. As it says in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Father, we bring before You their physical and financial needs. You know the desires of their heart, and we trust in Your provision. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Lord, we ask that You would open doors for full-time work and provide an apartment that is safe, affordable, and a true haven. Guide their steps and lead them to the opportunities You have prepared for them. Help them to remember that You are their provider, as Matthew 6:31-33 reminds us, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Lord, we also pray for patience and contentment in this season. Help them to trust in Your timing and to find peace in Your presence. As Psalm 37:5 says, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." May they find rest in You, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke any spirit of lack, fear, or doubt that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy the blessings You have in store. We declare that this dear one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We speak abundance, provision, and favor over their life, in Jesus' mighty name.
Continue to seek God’s face daily, dear one. Spend time in His Word and in prayer, for as Jeremiah 29:13 says, "You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage and support you in your walk with Christ. Remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God, even when circumstances seem bleak. Stand on His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).
May the Lord bless you abundantly and keep you. May His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Walk in the assurance that God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
