We are thrilled to join with you in prayer for your son as he embarks on his first day of internship. Let us lift him up together, seeking God's will and guidance in his life.
Firstly, we acknowledge the power of praying in Jesus' name (John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."). It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we are saved (Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!").
Now, let us pray for your son:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved son as he begins his internship. We thank You for this opportunity and pray that You would keep him safe throughout this experience. Guide his steps, Lord, and direct his path (Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.").
Bring the right people into his life during this internship, Lord. Let him encounter godly influences who will support and encourage him (1 Corinthians 15:33, "Don't be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.' "). Help him to be a light for You, reflecting Your love and goodness to those around him (Matthew 5:16, "Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.").
Equip him, Lord, with the wisdom and discernment needed to face any challenges that may come his way (James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."). Help him to see these challenges as opportunities for growth and learning, and give him the strength to overcome them.
Finally, Lord, we pray that this internship would not only be a time of professional growth but also a time for him to draw closer to You. Reveal Yourself to him, Lord, and help him to see Your hand at work in his life (Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.").
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your son, trusting that God is in control and has a wonderful plan for his life (Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."). May this internship be a blessing for him and a testimony of God's faithfulness. Stand strong in your faith, knowing that God hears and answers our prayers according to His will and purpose.
