We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your sister and her husband in this time of deep longing and sorrow. The pain of repeated loss is not unknown to our Heavenly Father, who collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). We stand in agreement with you, believing that the Lord sees their desire for children and hears their cries.
Father God, we first rebuke every spirit of barrenness, miscarriage, and delay that has operated against this marriage. Your Word declares that children are a heritage from You, a reward from the Lord (Psalm 127:3). We break every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ mighty name, declaring that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We command every obstacle, whether spiritual, physical, or emotional, to be removed by the power of the blood of Jesus. Let the womb of this precious sister be a place of life, not loss, and let her body be strengthened to carry and deliver a child in perfect health.
Lord, we ask that You would heal any wounds, seen or unseen, that may be contributing to this struggle. Heal her heart from the grief of past losses, and restore her hope in Your perfect timing. Remind her and her husband that You are the God who opens wombs (Genesis 21:1-2, 30:22) and that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37). Strengthen their faith to trust You even when the wait feels unbearable.
We also pray for their marriage, that it would remain a refuge of love, unity, and mutual support. May they lean on You together, finding comfort in Your presence and in the community of believers around them. Surround them with godly counsel, wise medical care, and friends who will uphold them in prayer.
Father, we declare that this season of waiting will not be in vain. Whether You choose to bless them with biological children, adoption, or another path, we ask that You make their home a place of joy, purpose, and fruitfulness. Let their testimony be one of Your faithfulness, turning their sorrow into joy and their mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for their lives. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every outcome. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
