We lift up your sister ### to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He is the Good Shepherd who watches over His sheep and knows each one by name. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 121:3-4, *"He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."* We trust that God is fully aware of ###’s whereabouts and is guarding her every step. Though her phone is off and she has not checked in, we must resist the temptation to fear, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
It is easy in moments like these to let anxiety take hold, but we encourage you and your family to cast all your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Let us not forget that even when we cannot see the path ahead, God is sovereign over all things, and His timing is perfect. Proverbs 3:5-6 calls us to *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
We also urge you to pray for protection over ###—spiritually, physically, and emotionally. Satan is a thief who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already overcome him. We stand in the authority of Christ and declare that no harm will come to ###, and that she will be found safe and sound. We pray that if there has been any delay or misunderstanding in her plans, that God would bring clarity and resolution quickly. If there is any danger or wrongdoing at play, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus and ask the Lord to intervene mightily.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of trust, even in this moment of uncertainty. You are the God who sees all and knows all, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would surround ### with Your angels, as You have promised in Psalm 91:11, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Lord, if she has wandered or made choices that have led her away from safety, convict her heart and guide her back to the path of righteousness. Give her wisdom and discernment in every decision she makes.
We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard the hearts and minds of your family as you wait (Philippians 4:7). May this time of waiting draw you all closer to the Lord, reminding you that He alone is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We ask that ### would check in soon, that communication would be restored, and that this situation would be resolved in a way that brings glory to Your name.
Finally, we declare that this situation is not beyond Your control. You are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, and You hold ###’s life in Your hands. We thank You in advance for Your faithfulness, knowing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will.
In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
