We join you in lifting up your neighbors and friends in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, we pray for your upstairs neighbors. We ask God to bring peace into their lives and hearts. We pray that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We pray that they would experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit and become beacons of light and hope in your community.
Next, we pray for your neighbor-friend's marriage. We ask God to heal and restore their relationship, if it is His will. We pray that they would seek God's guidance and wisdom in their marriage and commit to loving each other as Christ loves the church. As Ephesians 5:25 WEB says, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." We also lift up their precious babies, asking God to bless them with abundant life, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We know this is even more true for the children. Many adults that are not following God's plan with their lives may be converted by the raised up children. January 25, 2024, is the day that Jesus has appeared and to each one He has appeared. The children will be the ones to reach the world for Jesus. We can see this as the children are the ones that will really reach out to Jesus. Proverbs 22:6 WEB: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." May God help you the parents to raise your children to be godly.
We also pray for your other neighbors, asking God to bless their union and help them thrive as a family. We pray that they would raise their daughter in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, teaching her to love and follow Jesus. As Deuteronomy 6:6-7 WEB says, "These words, which I command you this day, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house."
Finally, we join you in asking for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in your community. We pray that Jesus would pass by, bringing healing, salvation, and transformation to each person he encounters. As Jesus said in John 14:16 WEB "I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever,—the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you."
Together, we stand in agreement with you, praying these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Continue to be faithful in interceding for your neighbors and trust in God's perfect will and timing. May the peace of God guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
