Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my dad ###. He’s had it pretty rough with one ailment or another and the. Had a fall and ruptured his spleen and liver lacerations and fractures in back. Thank God he made it to trauma hospital and surgery but now heart irregular and having lots of pain. He needs pain control and healing so his heart rate will go back to normal and have better control. Once pain under control I think everything else will start healing. Specialist to see him today and make new orders. Then he is supposed to go to skilled care after this and we are hopeful he can get into ### and get the great care and get back to improved health. Start enjoying life again. Please pray for my Dad's healing and get him strong and smiling again. Power of prayer is so strong. Thank you

We are joining you in prayer for your ### and we thank God with you that He brought him through the fall and the trauma surgery. What a mercy that he made it to the hospital in time, and we know the Lord is our healer and sustainer even through such severe injuries.

We are lifting up his pain, his heart rhythm, his ruptured spleen, liver lacerations and fractures in his back. We pray for effective pain control, for his heart to steady and return to a normal rhythm, and for his body to begin to heal in the order God designed. We pray for wisdom for the specialist who is to see him today, that the Lord would guide every order and decision, and for favor in getting into skilled care where he can receive excellent attention and continue to grow stronger. We long with you to see him smiling again and enjoying life.

We take comfort that God sees his suffering and is near to those in pain, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We also cling to His promise, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17, and Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We pray that as his pain is controlled, his heart and whole body will be able to rest and mend.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear father to You. Lord, You know every injury and every pain he is enduring. We ask You to ease his pain, to calm his heart and bring it back into a steady, normal rhythm, to heal his spleen, his liver and his back, and to strengthen him day by day. Give wisdom and clarity to the specialist and to every doctor and nurse caring for him, guide their hands and their orders, and provide the right skilled care facility where he will be well tended to. Comfort his family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7, and let him feel Your presence and love through this difficult recovery. Restore him, Lord, that he may be strong and joyful again. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your cares on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to keep bringing every need to God in prayer with thanksgiving Philippians 4:6. The power of prayer is indeed real, and we want to gently share why we pray in the name of Jesus. You thanked God, which we appreciate, but we noticed your request did not mention Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is through believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and our prayers are heard Romans 10:9. We encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus as you pray for your dad, knowing that God hears us through Him.

We will continue to keep your dad and your family in our prayers for complete healing, peace and restored strength.

We were so moved reading about your dad and what he has been through. A fall with a ruptured spleen, liver lacerations and fractures in his back is so much for one body to endure, and we thank God with you that he made it to the trauma hospital and through surgery. We can hear how heavy it is to watch him now in a lot of pain with his heart rhythm unsettled while you wait for next steps.

It makes sense that getting his pain under better control feels like the turning point. When pain eases, the body can often rest enough for other healing to continue. We are praying for real relief for him today and for clear wisdom for the specialist as he makes new orders, and for favor as you hope for placement for skilled care.

One small thing that helps many families in this in between hospital time is keeping a simple bedside note with questions as they come, how pain is at different times, and what each provider says. It can make that specialist visit feel less rushed and help you advocate calmly when you are tired. Please let others support you too in these long waiting hours, even with meals or sitting with him so you can rest.

Healing after this kind of trauma is often slow and uneven, and it is understandable to feel worn down watching it day by day. We are holding you both before the Lord and asking Him to carry you step by step.

Father, we lift this dear father to You and ask for Your mercy over his pain, his heart, his injuries and his healing. Give his doctors wisdom, give him relief and restorative rest, and give his family peace and strength as they wait. Hold him close and let him know Your nearness. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your earnest prayer for your father has come before us and we have carried it to the throne of grace with thanksgiving. We bless God with you that He spared his life and brought him to the trauma hospital and through surgery, for every such mercy is from the Father's hand, and when the Divine Father is viewed aright He becomes the object of our gratitude, not of our dread.

We have prayed that the Lord, who is our Father and our Savior's Father, will lay His healing hand upon your father in this great affliction. We have asked that He will give ease from pain, that He will settle and steady the irregular heart, and that He will mend what has been torn and broken, the ruptured spleen, the wounded liver and the fractures of his back. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon him with healing in His wings, for when Jesus healed the sick, pardon and healing were as one in His gracious hand.

We have prayed also for wisdom for the specialist who sees him today, that God will guide every order and every remedy, and for the provision of the skilled care you desire, that he may be placed where he shall be tended with diligence and kindness. And we have asked that the Lord will grant you and all who love him a quiet trust in the heavenly Father, who knows what we require and who is a better Father than the best of fathers could ever be.

Remember, as we have often taught, that restoration is a long process. The man that long has tossed upon the weary bed of pain does not at once run and leap as he did before. You may crush in a moment, but you cannot so speedily cure. Wonder not if recovery should be slow, and as he grows a little stronger and a little stronger, acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has a new claim upon your affection. He is able to strengthen him, He is willing to strengthen him, and He will effectually do it in answer to prayer. Christ has set His Yes and Amen on every promise of the Father.

Let us pray together. O Blessed God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, look in mercy upon this suffering servant. Thou hast preserved him through great peril, now perfect that which concerneth him. Ease his pain, calm his heart, heal his wounds and knit his bones, and restore him to strength that he may yet enjoy life and smile again before Thee. Give skill to those who care for him and peace to those who watch beside him. All this we ask in the name of Jesus our heavenly Physician, to whom with the Father and the Holy Spirit be glory forever and ever. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for your father has been heard and we join you in lifting him before our God and Father with thanksgiving and supplication.

We thank God that He preserved your father through the fall and brought him to the trauma hospital and through surgery. We have prayed that the Lord will have mercy and grant healing to his body, ease his pain, steady his heart rhythm, and restore what has been torn and broken. We have asked that God will give wisdom and skill to the specialists who see him today and to all who direct his care, that his pain would be well controlled so that his heart may return to a normal rhythm and his other injuries may heal as they should. We have also prayed that the Lord will open the way for the skilled care he needs and that there He will be strengthened, comforted, and restored to health and joy again.

We pray this to our God and Father through Jesus Christ His Son, for it is when the Son is honored and trusted that the Father is glorified, and all healing and mercy come from Him. As it is written, unto our God and Father be glory forever and ever. We ask that even in this time of suffering your father would know the gentleness of the Father who does not rejoice in pain but desires healing, and that you and your family would find rest in Christ who says His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

Continue to cast your cares upon Him in prayer, not only with words spoken aloud but with the heart lifted to God at all times, for He hears the prayer offered in faith even when it is whispered in thought. May the Lord grant your father relief, steady strength day by day, and a renewed spirit to smile and enjoy life again, all for His glory. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your dad's situation and for inviting us to pray with you. We are joining you in prayer for him right now, asking the Lord to bring comfort, healing, and strength in these difficult days after his fall and surgery.

It helps to remember what Jesus showed us about the Father. Jesus said that to see Him is to see the Father, and that the words He spoke and the works He did were the Father at work through Him. All of His compassion, all of His healing of sick bodies and lifting up of broken lives, was a revelation of the Father's heart toward us. That is the heart that is turned toward your dad even now. The Father sees his pain, his injuries, and his weariness, and He cares deeply.

Scripture tells us that the Lord Himself has borne our pains and carried our sorrows. We can bring your dad's pain to Him honestly and ask Him to carry what is too heavy to bear, to ease the suffering and to bring true relief. We are praying that the Lord will calm the irregular heart rhythm, regulate his heart rate, and help his body respond to treatment. We are asking for wisdom for the specialist and for every doctor and nurse caring for him, that they will have clear insight in making orders for pain control and for healing of the ruptured spleen, the liver lacerations, and the fractures in his back. We are praying that with pain better controlled, his heart will steady and the rest of his body can begin to mend as God designed it to do.

We are also praying for the next step you mentioned, the move to skilled care. We ask the Lord to open the right place, to provide excellent and attentive caregivers, and to use their hands as instruments of His restoring work. Above all we pray that your dad will feel the nearness and peace of God, that he will be strengthened day by day, and that you will see him smiling and enjoying life again.

We will continue to lift him and your whole family before the Father. May the Lord give you peace as you wait on Him, confidence that He hears every prayer offered in Jesus name, and hope as you watch for His gracious work. We pray this in the name of Jesus, who lives to make intercession for us and who reveals the Father's love so clearly. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for your dad and his recovery. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for him after such a difficult fall and the ruptured spleen, liver lacerations and fractures in his back.

We have continued to lift him before the Lord and we thank God that he made it to the trauma hospital and through surgery. We have been praying specifically for relief from his pain, for his heart rhythm to return to normal, and for complete healing of his spleen, liver and back. We have also been praying for wisdom for the specialist who was to see him and make new orders, and for the Lord to provide the right place in skilled care where he can receive great care and grow strong again. We are trusting the Lord who heals us, for we know that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and that He has promised But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds declares the Lord Jeremiah 30:17.

If your dad has seen his pain come under better control, his heart rate stabilize and his healing progress, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you and give thanks to God. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered and he is still struggling with pain, irregular heart rate or the need for skilled care placement, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray in Jesus Name for your dad to be strengthened, restored and smiling again, and for comfort and peace for you and your family as you trust Him. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
