Your thankfulness for your physiotherapy team and your desire to serve patients well is encouraging, and it is right to bring this work before the Lord Jesus Christ in prayer.
Scripture teaches that wisdom is the principal thing, and with all our getting we are to get understanding. Clinical knowledge, assessment skills, and technical training are important, but wisdom is greater. Knowledge gives facts, wisdom knows how to apply them with good judgment, prudence, and discernment. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, a humble reverence for Him and a desire to walk in His ways. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and God gives wisdom generously when we ask Him. It is fitting to ask Him to pour out that wisdom upon your team, so that every decision, every exercise, every instruction for home based care, and every act of positioning and mobility support would be guided by clarity and understanding beyond mere information.
There is a wisdom that is earthly and comes to nothing, and there is a wisdom from above that is pure and peaceable. True wisdom does not lead to envy or strife but to unity and to a life that reflects God. As you pray for teamwork, ask the Lord to give you that heavenly wisdom which produces patience, gentleness, and peace among you, so that you work together without division and serve each patient with dignity and respect as one made in God's image.
Compassion of the kind you desire cannot be manufactured by effort alone. A deep, enduring compassion for those who are suffering, and the patience to walk with them through slow recovery, is something God Himself must place in the heart. Pray that He would give you His compassion and strength, that He would guard your own wellbeing as you give yourselves to others, and that He would sustain you when the work is demanding.
Your verse from Colossians is a sure foundation for this service. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord. When your hands and your decisions are offered to Him, your service becomes more than a clinical task. It becomes a testimony of hope and a means by which God brings recovery, independence, and renewed productivity to those in your care.
May the Lord grant you wisdom and understanding, clothe you with compassion and patience, protect and strengthen you, keep you in unity, and make your work fruitful for the good of every patient and family you serve.
