Prayer for my OCD/Aniexty

We hear you and we are lifting you up together before the Father in Jesus' name, thanking you for reaching out and asking for prayer for the anxiety and OCD that has been bothering you these past couple days. We know how heavy and exhausting intrusive thoughts and anxious feelings can be, and we want you to know that God sees you, He cares deeply for you, and He invites you to bring every worry to Him.
We are reminded of what Scripture tells us about His care and His peace. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. God did not create you to live in fear or torment. 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. And Isaiah 41:10 reminds us Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear one who is struggling with anxiety and OCD. Lord, You know the thoughts that race and the distress they have caused the past couple days. We ask that You pour out Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Quiet the anxious thoughts, calm the restless mind, and replace fear with Your power, love and sound mind. Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ as 2 Corinthians 10:5 teaches, and to experience Your rest. Strengthen them, uphold them with Your righteous right hand, and remind them moment by moment that You are near and that You care for them. Give them renewed hope, restful sleep, and steady confidence in Your presence. We also ask that You guide them to godly counsel and support if needed, and help them to keep seeking You daily through prayer and Your Word. We thank You that we can come boldly to Your throne through Jesus, and we trust You to work in this situation for good. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to keep bringing everything to the Lord in prayer throughout the day, even short simple prayers, and to fill your mind with His promises. Psalm 34:4 says I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. When intrusive or anxious thoughts come, try gently turning to Scripture, speaking it aloud, and asking Jesus to help you refocus on what is true and good. It can also help to share honestly with a trusted pastor or mature believer and to stay connected in fellowship and in the Word. We are continuing to pray for your peace and for freedom from this burden, trusting that God who loves you will be your strength and comfort day by day.

Thank you for reaching out and allowing us to pray for you in Jesus name. We have lifted you up before the Lord and we continue to remember you, asking that He would grant you His own peace in these difficult days.
We hear how heavy anxiety and intrusive thoughts can feel, especially when they return again and again and make the mind feel restless. Please be assured that the Lord knows your struggle and His thoughts toward His people are not thoughts of evil but thoughts of peace, to give an expected end. He has not forgotten you, for He has engraved His own upon the palms of His hands, and all His thoughts toward you in Christ are peace.
Scripture gives a precious promise for an anxious mind, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." That perfect peace is not found in our own efforts to quiet every thought, but in looking away from ourselves to the Lord Jesus and trusting Him. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even in a dark world of care and when duties and fears press hard upon us. There is a peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away, a peace purchased by Christ, given by the Father, and worked in the heart by the Holy Spirit.
We pray that the Lord would help you to bring every anxious thought to Him in prayer, to cast all your care upon Him because He cares for you, and to keep your mind stayed upon Christ and His finished work. When troubling thoughts arise, may you be enabled to answer them with the truth of God's Word and to rest in what Jesus has done, knowing that peace with God through His atonement is the fountain from which peace in the conscience flows.
Our prayer for you is this: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Savior, look upon this dear one who is troubled with anxiety and distressing thoughts. Forgive sin, speak peace through the blood of Christ, and guard heart and mind with that peace which passes all understanding. Teach them to trust You more fully, to stay the mind upon You, and to know Your thoughts of peace toward them each day. Renew strength, grant rest, and draw them nearer to Yourself, that even with sorrows surging round there may be quiet confidence in Your keeping. Sustain them by Your grace and let them know the comfort of Your presence, for Christ's sake. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
