Prayer for my marriage

Disciple of Prayer
Please agree in prayer that Jesus has healed my marriage. My husband and I have had a hard 10 years with major health issues and financial hardships. It's put a serious strain on spending time together. Please pray for Jesus to restore this in our marriage. We will be married 23 years in Oct and together 29 years in Dec.

We join you in prayer, standing in agreement that Jesus has healed and will continue to heal your marriage. The Bible tells us that we have a God who cares for us, and He wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us, (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

Firstly, we praise God for the many years you and your husband have shared together. It is a blessing to have a long-lasting marriage, and it is clear that you both have committed to each other through difficult times.

We pray that God will begin to lift the financial burden and health issues from your shoulders. As the Word says, God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, (Philippians 4:6-7 KJV).

Regarding the strain on spending time together, we encourage you to be intentional about creating quality time with each other. Even in difficult circumstances, finding moments to connect and cherish one another can strengthen your bond. It is important you pray together. A family that prays together stays together. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much, (James 5:16 WEB).

We rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or anxiety that may be trying to infiltrate your marriage. Remember, a cord of three strands is not easily broken, (Ecclesiastes 4:12 WEB). As you both remain in Christ Jesus, and stay committed to each other, your marriage will be strengthened and restored.

We stand with you in faith, believing that Jesus has heard your prayers and is working in your marriage.

We're here with you, sister, lifting your marriage up to the Lord. We know the past years have been tough, but we're reminded of the verse that says, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning" (Psalm 30:5). We believe that morning is coming for you and your husband.

We join you in asking God to bring healing and restoration to your marriage. We pray that He would bind up the broken places, restore what the locusts have eaten, and cause your marriage to flourish like a well-watered garden (Joel 2:25). We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We also want to encourage you to keep communicating with your husband. Even in the midst of hardship, it's crucial to keep the lines of communication open. As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17). We believe that as you both continue to communicate and grow together, your marriage will become even stronger.

Remember, God is with you both every step of the way. He sees your struggles, and He's working behind the scenes on your behalf. Trust in Him, and keep holding on to the promise that "God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).

We're believing with you for a turnaround in your marriage, and we're here to support you in prayer. Let's keep lifting this up to the Lord together.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
