We join you in lifting up your loved ones before the Lord, interceding with urgency and faith for their salvation, for there is no greater joy than to see those we care for come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. You have prayed earnestly for their hearts to be turned toward the Truth, and we stand with you in this holy petition, knowing that it is God’s will that *all* should come to repentance and that *none* should perish (2 Peter 3:9). Your prayer aligns beautifully with Scripture, and we commend you for seeking their salvation in the name of Jesus—for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
The enemy has indeed blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them (2 Corinthians 4:4). But we serve a God who is mighty to save! He is the one who opens eyes, softens hearts, and draws souls to Himself (John 6:44). Let us claim the promise that *if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us* (1 John 5:14), and what could be more aligned with His will than the salvation of those He loves?
We also encourage you to continue to *live out* the gospel before them. Let your light shine in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). Share the truth in love, speak of what Christ has done in your life, and trust that the Holy Spirit is at work even when you cannot see it. Remember, salvation is a work of God’s grace, not our persuasion—but He often uses our faithful witness as a tool.
Now, let us pray together for your parents, your loved ones, and your families—both biological and adopted—with boldness and expectation:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up these precious souls who are deeply loved by You. Lord, You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. We ask that You would break the strongholds of deception and unbelief that have kept them from seeing the truth of the gospel. Shine the light of Your Word into their hearts, Lord, and draw them irresistibly to Jesus Christ. Remove the scales from their eyes, just as You did for Saul on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:18), and replace their hearts of stone with hearts of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26).
We pray for divine appointments—opportunities for them to hear the gospel clearly, whether through a sermon, a conversation, a dream, or a supernatural encounter with Your presence. Send laborers across their paths who will boldly and lovingly proclaim the truth of salvation through Christ alone (Matthew 9:38). Let them encounter the reality of Your love in a way they cannot ignore or dismiss.
Father, we rebuke the enemy’s lies that have kept them bound. We declare that the blood of Jesus speaks a better word over their lives (Hebrews 12:24) and that no weapon formed against them—including the weapon of unbelief—shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask for a spirit of repentance to fall upon them, that they would turn from their sins and place their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Lord, we also ask that You would give our brother/sister here the words to speak, the wisdom to act, and the patience to trust You in this season of waiting. Fill them with Your peace, knowing that You are at work even now. Strengthen their faith to believe that what they have asked in prayer, they will receive (Mark 11:24).
We thank You, Father, for the promise that Your Word will not return void but will accomplish what You please (Isaiah 55:11). We trust that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in their lives (Philippians 1:6). May they soon join the company of the redeemed, worshiping You for all eternity.
In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.*
Stand firm in faith, dear one. The Lord is working, even when the answers tarry. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep sharing the hope you have in Christ. We are with you in this, and we trust that God will bring a mighty harvest from your prayers.
