Prayer for my life

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Jesus I thank you for letting me see another day, I thank you for everything. It seems as though I am under attack with spiritual warfare; anything that can go wrong has gone wrong. I feel so helpless, just struggling from day to day. These last few months have been so stressful when it comes to my finances. Nobody to help me. Seeking another job for the new year because my job ends Monday. When it comes to jobs, this is rarely in my life get hired immediately. I asked evil boss could I work more than one day next week; she said no only if a teacher calls out. She has put me as a on-call substitute teacher. When I was given the job, I was a long-term sub for a year, working all the time. This upcoming week, parents give Christmas gifts to teachers thanking them for all of their hard work; she wants to ensure that I get nothing. It hurts. I wanted to finish this week out and see the children this last week, probably for the last time. She is an evil, wicked one. If she thinks something will help, such as a few dollars on a paycheck, she will do the opposite to hurt people to make your situation miserable. My struggle is real: lack of finances, lack of housing, no one to help me. I’m coming boldly to the throne of grace as an empty vessel before a full fountain, waiting to be filled with your grace from on high. Dear Lord. I did my best at this job, assisting the children in many areas where they lacked. I stepped in and looked at the overall picture of what was needed. The present previous teacher in that did and do not care. The boss, this is just a business, and the children are merchandise. Lord, please step in and show her that you have calm power and besides you, there is none other. My spiritual journey, health, keep me strong. Bless me financially, my Lord. I need in every step of the way. I need you, Lord. I need housing. Please, please, please. Hire those who are not qualified, no experience, lack of education, and knowledge in childcare, and they get all the work. In Jesus' name, I pray. Lord, take the overcharge of ###. Put a burden on her heart. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face this intense spiritual battle and overwhelming circumstances. Your cry for help has been heard, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world (John 16:33). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of oppression, lack, and despair that has been pressing down on you. In the name of Jesus, we command every assignment of the enemy against your finances, housing, and peace to be broken now!

Your situation with this employer is deeply unjust, and we grieve with you over the cruelty you’ve endured. The Bible warns us that "a worker is worthy of his wages" (Luke 10:7), yet you have been denied both fair compensation and dignity. We pray that the Lord would expose the wickedness in this situation and bring it to light. Proverbs 22:22-23 says, *"Don’t exploit the poor because they are poor, and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* We ask the Lord to intervene on your behalf, to soften this woman’s heart or remove her from her position of authority if she refuses to repent. May she see the error of her ways and be convicted by the Holy Spirit.

We also pray for your job search. It is not by coincidence that you are facing this transition—God has a plan for your provision. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We declare that doors will open for you that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). You are not forgotten, and your skills and heart for children have not gone unnoticed by the Lord. We ask Him to connect you with employers who will value your contributions and provide stability. If it is His will, may He even restore your position or open a better opportunity where you are truly appreciated.

Your housing situation weighs heavily on us as well. Psalm 34:17-18 reminds us, *"The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* We pray for divine provision—a safe, affordable place to call home. Whether through a sudden opportunity, the generosity of God’s people, or a miraculous intervention, we believe the Lord will make a way where there seems to be no way. We also encourage you to seek out local churches or Christian organizations that may offer assistance or connections to housing resources.

We must also address the spiritual warfare you’re experiencing. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* The enemy is attacking because he sees the potential in you and wants to keep you from God’s purpose. But we declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37). We pray for your spiritual armor to be strengthened—put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God’s Word (Ephesians 6:13-17). Stand firm, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9).

We also want to gently encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness toward this employer. Hebrews 12:15 warns, *"Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled."* While it is right to call out injustice, we must leave room for God’s justice and not let anger take root. Instead, we pray for a spirit of forgiveness—not for her sake, but for your own peace and freedom.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your identity is not defined by your circumstances. You are a child of the Most High God, created for a purpose. Jeremiah 29:11 says, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Even in this season of waiting, God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister in Christ, lifting up every burden and care. Lord, You see the injustice, the financial strain, the housing need, and the spiritual attacks. We ask You to arise as a mighty warrior on their behalf. Break every chain of oppression, and let Your light shine into the darkness of this situation. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every spirit of lack, fear, and despair in the name of Jesus.

Lord, we ask for divine favor in their job search. Open doors that no man can shut, and connect them with employers who will value and honor them. Provide for their every need—financially, emotionally, and spiritually. We pray for a safe and stable place to live, and we ask You to stir the hearts of Your people to come alongside them in this time of need.

Father, strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their provider, their refuge, and their strong tower. Help them to cast every anxiety on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.

We also pray for their employer, Lord. If there is any hope of repentance, soften her heart. If not, we ask that You remove her from her position of authority and replace her with someone who will lead with integrity and compassion. Expose any hidden wickedness, and let Your justice prevail.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You draw them closer to You. Let this season of struggle produce endurance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-4). May they emerge from this trial stronger in faith and more dependent on You.

We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your perfect timing and provision. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend,

We're right here with you, feeling the weight of your struggles. It's like you're in a storm, and the winds of financial strain, housing concerns, and spiritual warfare are howling all around you. But remember, storms don't last forever. They come to pass, and the sun always breaks through the clouds.

We're praying for you, dear one. We're asking God to calm the storm, to bring peace to your heart, and to provide for your needs. We're believing with you for a job that values your skills and heart, for a safe place to call home, and for financial stability.

But more than anything, we're asking God to draw near to you. In the midst of the storm, we want you to feel His presence, His love, and His strength. We want you to know that you are not alone, and that He is fighting for you.

We're also praying for your employer. We're asking God to soften her heart, or if she refuses to repent, to remove her from her position and replace her with someone who will lead with integrity and compassion. We want justice to prevail, but we also want mercy.

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, dear friend. He is your refuge and strength, always ready to help you in times of trouble. Trust in Him, and know that He is working all things together for your good.

We're here for you, cheering you on, and believing with you for a breakthrough. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and remember that even in the storm, God is with you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
