I read a story last night about a eleven year old girl was learning from her Sunday School teachr how to live by faith. The girl asked her mom one day if she could have a piano because she wanted to worship Jesus with it. Her mom explained they couldn't afford a piano but she encouraged her daughter to pray. The girl went into her room and prayed a simple prayer: "God I know that You've got lots of pianos in heaven and so I was just wondering if You could give me one?" She remembered Mark 11:24 and she firmly believed that when she prayed, she received. Following her time of prayer she ran out to share her exuberance with her mom. She said, Mommy, Mommy, God just gave me a piano." He did? asked the mom, 'where is it?'
'Oh, it is in my spirit," replied the little girl. I have a piano from God by faith.'
She got her piano when a lady from her church received a new piano from her husband. So the lady prayed and asked the Lord what to do with the other one and He said to give it to the little girl.
Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
So I just wondered about this 11:23 when i just let my dog in and asked the Lord about this, and this is what I would call casting doubt and unbelief into the sea and speaking life into your situation, because Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
And then it goes on to say:
Mar 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Mar 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Mar 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Father, thank you for your mercy and grace poured out in this marriage. I pray for truth to be revealed in your word to ALL of us who are asking for a miracle. Your word also says that without vision we perish. If our vision is shortsighted then our miracle will be short lived. Give us vision with eternity's in view. Help us to speak ONLY your word for it is your word that is life, anything else speaks death.
I call forth your word for this marriage that husband will leave all others behind and cleave only unto his wife and they shall become one flesh and ONE with you, by your Spirit. In Jesus name. Amen.
