A husband must honor his marriage vows by cherishing his wife as his sacred duty and lifelong joy.
Christ alone heals the spiritually broken when all human efforts fail.
True greatness often hides in plain sight and calls us to see beyond appearances to the worth within.
We join you in prayer for your husband and for you as his wife as you wait on the outcome of this doctor visit. We understand how important his CDL license is for his work and for your family's provision, and how worrying it can be when a medical test does not go as hoped. We bring this need before our Heavenly Father together.
We are reminded that our help and our healing come from the Lord. As it is written, My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth Psalm 121:2, and He is the one who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3. We also take comfort that we can bring every anxiety to Him, for it says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently share why we pray in His name, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and our prayers are heard. If you have not already, we encourage you both to put your trust in Him, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.

We pray for wisdom for the doctor who is examining him right now, that You would guide his hands and his judgment, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him James 1:5. We thank You for the gift of marriage and for this wife who intercedes for her husband, and we pray You will strengthen their union and draw them closer to You and to each other through this trial. We have received your request and we join you in bringing your husband before the throne of grace in this hour of anxiety.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they urge us to seek a physician for our healing, and how merciful it is that we have a heavenly Physician whose power to heal is still present. The Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we have often taught that the least thing about Christ is healing, that abundant streams of healing flow down from Him to men below. There is healing virtue in Christ, and that virtue can touch both soul and body.
We pray that the Lord, who has risen with healing in His wings, will be gracious to your husband. We ask that if it be His will, the simple means of glasses may be blessed to correct his vision, that his sight may be made clear and that he may pass the medical test required for his license. We pray that the Lord will guide the hands and wisdom of the doctor who examines him, and grant a positive outcome according to His good providence.
At the same time we remember that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, and that our greatest need is the healing Christ brings to the heart through forgiveness. We pray that as you both look to Him in this small trial, you will find your faith strengthened, your spirits made calm, and your trust fixed not only upon the remedy for the eyes but upon the Lord Himself who heals all our diseases and will at last perfectly heal our bodies.
