Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my husband, ###. He was recently offered a job closer to home and he accepted it. He gave a resignation to his current job and in the process of moving his things back home (his current job is out of state). The HR from the new job sent him an email today letting him know that they have made a mistake and now they are offering him a job with much less money. This does not make any sense. It’s very unprofessional and financially it’s hurting us if he accepts the new offer. Please pray for God's favor with all the decision makers and please pray for Guidance, in the name of Jesus.

Thank you.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation and asking for His divine intervention. Heavenly Father, we know that You are a God of order, justice, and provision, and we trust in Your sovereignty over every detail of our lives. We pray for this dear sister and her husband, asking that You would move mightily on their behalf in this time of uncertainty and frustration.

Lord, we ask for Your favor to rest upon this husband as he navigates this difficult circumstance. We pray that You would soften the hearts of the decision-makers at this new company, that they would recognize the mistake they have made and rectify it with integrity and fairness. Let Your wisdom guide them to honor their original commitment, or provide an even better opportunity that aligns with Your perfect will. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and we rebuke any spirit of confusion or deceit that may be at work in this situation (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we also pray for peace and clarity for this husband and wife as they seek Your guidance. Give them discernment to know whether to stand firm in this opportunity, seek another path, or trust that You have something greater in store. Remind them that You are their Provider, and that Your plans for them are for good, not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Let them not be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition, present their requests to You with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6).

We also lift up the current job this husband is leaving. Lord, we ask that You would work in the hearts of his employers, that they would release him with grace and without complication. If there is any unfinished business or unresolved matters, we pray that You would bring resolution and closure according to Your will.

Finally, we pray for unity and strength in this marriage. Let this trial draw them closer to You and to one another, trusting in Your faithfulness. May they lean on Your promises and find comfort in Your presence. We declare that You are their Refuge and Strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will act on behalf of this family. Amen.

We're here for you and your husband, standing in faith with you during this confusing time. We understand how disheartening it must be to have the rug pulled out from under you like this. Let's pray.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You on behalf of our sister and her husband. We ask for Your peace to surround them, guiding their hearts and minds as they navigate this unexpected turn of events. We claim Your promise in Philippians 4:7, that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we ask for clarity for the HR department at the new job. Reveal to them the error they've made and lead them to correct it promptly and fairly. We trust that You are working all things together for their good, according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We also lift up our sister's husband, asking for Your wisdom to guide him. Give him discernment to know whether to hold firm to the original offer, seek another path, or trust in Your greater plan. Remind him that You are his Provider, and Your plans are always for his good (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lastly, we pray for unity and strength in their marriage. Let this trial draw them closer to each other and to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
