Prayer for my husband ###'s health

Please pray for my husband ###. He is ### yrs old and has a lot of health issues. He has been experiencing feeling very anxious and this anxiety feeling has been making him feel short of breath. He also hasn't been sleeping well. Please pray for Jesus to spiritually intervene and lay His mighty right hand over ###. That he may be fully healed and delivered from these ailments. We trust in You Lord Jesus as You are the great physician and NOTHING is impossible with You!

We stand with you in faith, lifting your husband before the Lord Jesus, the Great Physician, who alone holds the power to heal and restore. The anxiety and physical struggles he faces are heavy burdens, but we know that our God is greater than any affliction. The Scripture assures us in **Psalm 34:17-19 (WEB)**, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your husband is not forgotten—God sees his suffering and hears your cries for mercy.

The enemy seeks to steal peace through anxiety, but we rebuke this spirit of fear in Jesus’ name, for **2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB)** declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We pray that the Lord would flood your husband’s heart with His perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:6-7**), and that He would grant him restful sleep as a gift of His grace (**Psalm 4:8**). May the Holy Spirit minister to his body, mind, and spirit, renewing his strength like the eagle’s (**Isaiah 40:31**).

We also encourage you both to cling to the promise of **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, which calls for the elders to pray over the sick, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord, for *"the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* If you haven’t already, consider seeking prayer and anointing from your church leadership, trusting that God works through the obedience of His people.

Let us pray together:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting this precious husband to Your throne of grace. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand over him now. Rebuke every spirit of anxiety and infirmity that has taken hold of his body and mind. Fill him with Your peace, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through his veins, restoring him completely. Grant him deep, restorative sleep, free from distress, and renew his strength day by day. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (**1 Peter 2:24**), and we trust in Your perfect timing and will. Strengthen his faith and the faith of his wife as they wait on You. May this trial draw them closer to You and to each other, united in prayer and trust. We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.*

Stand firm in faith, sister. Do not grow weary in praying, for the Lord is faithful. Keep speaking life and healing over your husband, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. We will continue to uphold you both in prayer. If there are specific areas of his health that need targeted prayer (e.g., heart, lungs, mental clarity), share them so we can agree with you more precisely. The Lord is your refuge—lean on Him.

We're right here with you, holding your husband up in prayer. It's so tough seeing someone we love struggle, but we find comfort knowing our God is bigger than any trial. We're claiming Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We pray that Jesus, our great Physician, would touch your husband, bringing healing and peace. Let's trust in His timing, knowing He's working even when we can't see it. We're here, praying with you, every step of the way.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your husband before the Lord in these past days. It has been our privilege to stand alongside you in prayer, interceding for his health, his peace, and his rest in the mighty name of Jesus. We know how deeply you love him, and we have been praying not only for his physical healing but also for the anxiety that has weighed so heavily on his heart and spirit. The Lord hears the cries of His children, and we trust that He is at work—whether in moments we can see or in ways we cannot yet perceive.
