Deanna, my heart goes out to you today. There is a lot of alcoholism in my family. I have seen first hand the destruction it leaves behind, the torn and shattered lives of this disease. Keep praying for your husband and I will stand with you for his deliverance and dependency. May you find many friends and lots of support here in the prayer room.
Jehovah Shammah, be with Deanna today. Lord, her heart is tearing into small pieces. He family is falling apart and the enemy is attacking on every side. I ask for your hand today, first to touch her broken heart and to heal it, to make it strong again. I also ask for your mercy and grace as she deals with this nightmare. Lord, her husband is ill. He is addicted to alcohal. He can't seem to break free on his on, to make sense of the situation and to seek help. I pray for intervention. I pray you would send him the help he needs to help him make the right choices and decisions to put this worldly enticement behind him, to restore his family and to make him responsible for his family, to be the spiritual leader that you intended him to be. He needs to be rescued with your help. Lord, I pray for the son, who is dependent on the drugs. He doesn't realize his body is your temple and that he should keep it holy and free from the worldly enticements he is pumping into it daily. He needs deliverance also. Lord, I pray for help and that this whole family can be restored, that you will become the center and that they will seek your will in all things. Lord, pour out your blessings upon them. I just lift them to your throne tonight and ask for a miracle in restoring them in the bond of love. To you be all honor, glory and praise. amen
