Prayer For My Husband And Our Marriage

My husband is so lost and confused. Our marriage is in serious trouble! I love him and don't want to lose him. He is considering leaving me and our marriage. We have no children yet although I always hoped we would. We have been together for 16, soon to be 17 years, married for 7 1/2.

I feel as if Satan has taken over his soul. He needs Jesus - we both do! The man I knew would have never done this. He actually developed feelings for another woman whom and he has still talked to and seen recently and whom he says he can't stop thinking about but he says he still loves me. I love him and I want to work to repair this.

I think he still has commitment issues and I know he is going through some kind of mid-life crisis where he isn't sure where he is going, what he wants, feels like he hasn't accomplished anything, etc.

Please bring Jesus back to my husband and I so he can guide our spirits and help heal our marriage and make it stronger than ever. Right now I am just so scared!! I can't imagine a life without him!

I pray Lord, that you would intervene in a mighty way, and Father, I come against that spirit of adultery, lies, fornication, unbelief and rebellion in Jesus' Name! I speak salvation, restoration, forgiveness, love, peace, and joy into this marraige. And Lord, what your Word says, is that "what God has brought together, let no man take apart." We rebuke any woman that may have interest in him, and every feeling that he has for any other woman other than his wife, we rebuke those feelings and cancel them in Jesus' Name! Lord I pray that you would give his peace and contentment, faith and trust in You, knowing and believing in her heart that you are at work in her husband, wherever he may be. May he be convicted and return to his wife, with a greater love for her and for You. God, your Word says that nothing is impossible with you, and that you hate divorce. We thank you in advance for what you are doing right now. We can't see it, don't understand this whole situation, but you do God. What the enemy has meant for God, God will surely use for good! We claim this man for the Kingdom of Heaven, thank you that he is the Man of God you destined him to be, and that this marriage is restored and will be used to your glory!
