Prayer for my granddaughter ###'s salvation

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting your granddaughter—and her siblings—before the throne of grace these past few days. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours, crying out for the Lord to break through the darkness that has ensnared her and to loose the chains of addiction and deception that have held her captive. It is our joy to stand in agreement with you, believing that the same God who opened Lydia’s heart to receive the truth is at work in your granddaughter’s life, drawing her back to Himself with cords of lovingkindness.

We know the ache of waiting, the longing to see a beloved prodigal return, and we cling to the promise that the Lord is not slow in keeping His word—He is patient, not willing that any should perish. If you’ve seen even the smallest glimmer of hope—a softened heart, a moment of conviction, or a step toward repentance—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Let us rejoice together over every victory, no matter how small, for we know that He who began this good work in her will carry it on to completion.

But if the battle still rages and the darkness seems unbroken, do not lose heart. Post your request again, and let us continue to contend in prayer with you. We will not grow weary in asking the Lord to shatter the lies of the enemy, to heal the deep wounds of orphanhood, and to replace bitterness with the oil of gladness. Our prayers will persist for her brothers and sister as well, that the Lord would gather them all as a hen gathers her chicks, sheltering them under the shadow of His wings.

May you be strengthened in this season of intercession, dear saint. The Lord sees your tears, hears your cries, and is moving on behalf of your family, even when we cannot yet see it. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing that the God who raised Christ from the dead is more than able to rescue your granddaughter from the domain of darkness and transfer her into the kingdom of His beloved Son.

We are praying for you as you continue to seek His face, that He would fill you with supernatural peace and hope. The battle belongs to the Lord, and the victory is already won. In Jesus’ mighty name.
