We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent request for healing and restoration. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our head. We ask that You would guide the hands of the doctors and medical staff as they perform this procedure. Grant them wisdom, skill, and precision as they work to drain the abscess on the liver. Let every step of the process unfold without complication, and may Your healing power flow through their hands as instruments of Your will.

Lord, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is already provided (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in the name of Jesus, for Your Word tells us that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). We stand on Your promise that You will restore health and heal wounds (Jeremiah 30:17). Let this procedure be a testimony to Your glory, that others may see Your mighty hand at work and turn their hearts toward You.

We also lift up the one undergoing this procedure, asking that You would surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Calm any fear or anxiety, and fill their heart with trust in Your unfailing love. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit as they place their hope in You.

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan. May this procedure bring complete healing, and may this precious life be restored to full health, not just for their sake, but so that they may continue to serve You and bring glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to Your throne. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
