Disciple of Prayer
I am a Filipina and working in Germany as a nurse. I brought my ### and 3 year old son here. Please pray for us that my husband can find a work and also for my son struggling emotionally in his new environment. I am praying for God to give me strength to face all the trials in our life financially and emotionally.

We lift up your family to the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of the challenges you face. First, we want to affirm the courage it takes to step out in faith, leaving your homeland to provide for your family while carrying the emotional burden of your son’s struggles and your husband’s unemployment. The Word reminds us in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* You are not alone in this—God sees your labor, your tears, and your unwavering love for your family.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your provision and peace to surround this family. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. We pray for the husband’s job search—open doors that no man can shut, guide him to opportunities that will sustain their needs, and grant him favor with employers. Your Word declares in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* May he seek You above all else, trusting in Your timing.

For the little boy struggling in this new environment, we ask for Your comfort, Lord. Children are a heritage from You (Psalm 127:3), and You know the depths of his heart. Surround him with friends who will uplift him, teachers who will show him kindness, and moments of joy that remind him of Your love. Heal any loneliness or fear, and let him feel the security of his parents’ love and Your presence. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or isolation in Jesus’ name, declaring that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

To you, dear sister, we say: your strength is not in your own might, but in the Lord’s. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* You are carrying so much—financial strain, emotional exhaustion, and the weight of motherhood in a foreign land. But God sees you. He hears your prayers, even the ones you can’t put into words. Cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

We also want to gently encourage you to seek out a local body of believers—a church family that can walk alongside you in this season. Hebrews 10:24-25 urges us, *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another."* You were not meant to do this alone. There is strength in fellowship, and God often provides through His people.

Lord Jesus, we ask for Your healing touch over this family. Mend what is broken, provide what is lacking, and fill their hearts with hope. Give them moments of laughter, rest, and reminders of Your faithfulness. Let them see Your hand at work in the small things—a kind word from a stranger, an unexpected blessing, a peaceful night’s sleep. We declare that their story is not one of lack, but of Your abundance. In every trial, You are working for their good (Romans 8:28).

We pray for unity in their marriage. May this season draw them closer to You and to each other. Let them lean on one another, communicate with patience, and extend grace when stress threatens to divide. Your Word says in Ecclesiastes 4:12, *"A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."* With You at the center of their marriage, they are unshakable.

Finally, we rebuke any spirit of despair or hopelessness that may be whispering lies to this family. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that their future is secure in Christ, and no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this sister’s faith and for her family. Bless them, protect them, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways. May they be a testimony to Your goodness, and may their son grow up knowing that his parents trusted in You. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come boldly before Your throne. Amen.
