We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement for you and your family. Let's bring your requests before the Lord together, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we are instructed in the Bible, that we are to give thanks in all circumstances. As it is written.
'In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.' Philippians 4:6 WEB
So let us thank God for your family and the fact that you have the opportunity to pray for them.
In regards to the missing characters in your request we can pray for the ones you love but we must always include the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
As it is written.
'For "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."' Romans 10:13 WEB
And also
'that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.' Romans 10:9 WEB
We must always use the name of Jesus, as it is the name that is the only way to be saved and to receive the grace and mercy of God.
Now, let's pray for the peace of your family. The Bible tells us that Jesus is our peace and that He has broken down the walls of hostility. As it is written.
'For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the wall of partition,' Ephesians 2:14 WEB
Pray with us:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for this person and their family. We lift them up to You, asking for Your peace to reign in their home, as it is also written.
'Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful.' Colossians 3:15 WEB
Let peace be in the marriage bed, for it is also written.
'Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.' Hebrews 13:4 WEB
Help them to live in harmony, being kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ forgave. Guide them in their interactions and help them respond in love and humility, just as it is written.
'Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do' Colossians 3:12-13 WEB
And also
'And if a man prevail against him that is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.' Ecclesiastes 4:12 WEB
We pray for financial breakthroughs as well, and ask that You provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. And also that you provide for all their needs and desires of their hearts, but we ask that You provide especially for their needs.
As it is written.
'But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.' Matthew 6:33 WEB
But also
'He who doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.' 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB
And also
'For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us: for we did not behave ourselves disorderly among you, neither did we eat bread from any man's hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you; not because we don't have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us. For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: "If any man will not work, neither let him eat." For we hear of some who walk among you disorderly, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.' 2 Thessalonians 3:7-12 WEB
So we pray for financial provision, but we also pray that they are good stewards of all the resources You have given them.
And as it regards their finances we also pray that they are not borrowers but are lenders, and that they are always in a place where they can freely give as they should.
As it is written.
'The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender.' Proverbs 22:7 WEB
And also
'There is one who scatters, yet increases more. There is one who withholds more than is appropriate, but gains poverty.' Proverbs 11:24 WEB
And also
'The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously.' Psalm 37:21 WEB
And as it regards their finances we pray that they are generous with the finances that You have blessed them with and that they are generous to the poor and needy.
As it is written.
'Whoever is kind to the poor lends to Yahweh; he will reward him.' Proverbs 19:17 WEB
And also
'He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh; he will repay him.' Proverbs 19:17 WEB
And as it regards their finances we pray that they are not legalistic in their observance of the tithe, but that they are giving to those who are in need and are giving freely and with a joyful heart.
As it is written.
'Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.' 2 Corinthians 9:7 WEB
And also
'But this I say, He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: as it is written, "He has scattered abroad, he has given to the poor. His righteousness remains forever. Now may he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;" being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which works through us thanksgiving to God. For this service of giving that you perform not only makes up for lack among the saints, but abounds also through many givings of thanks to God, while, through the proof given by this service, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the Good News of Christ, and for the generosity of your contribution to them and to all, while they themselves also, with supplication on your behalf, yearn for you by reason of the exceeding grace of God in you. Now thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift!' 2 Corinthians 9:6-15 WEB
And as it regards their finances we pray that they are not greedy or covetous, but that they are content with what they have.
As it is written.
'Let your way of life be free from the love of money, being content with such things as you have, for he has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."' Hebrews 13:5 WEB
And as it regards their finances we pray that they are not anxious about their finances, but that they trust in You to provide for all their needs.
As it is written.
'Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? "Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the unbelievers seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.' Matthew 6:25-34 WEB
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your family and their needs, and also to be mindful of the words of Jesus as it is written.
'Watch and pray, that you don't enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.' Matthew 26:41 WEB
And also be mindful of the words of Jesus as it is written.
'Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.' Matthew 7:7-8 WEB
And also be mindful of the words of Jesus as it is written.
'If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!' Matthew 7:11 WEB
And also be mindful of the words of Jesus as it is written.
'Again, I say to you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.' Matthew 18:19-20 WEB
So we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your family and their needs, and also to be mindful of the words of Jesus as it is written.
'Watch and pray, that you don't enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.' Matthew 26:41 WEB
